Klipsch X12i in-ear headphones

The Klipsch X12i in-ear headphones are incredibly light and compact (shown with included accessories).

Durable build, luxurious feel

Just because these headphones are super-light, don't underestimate their ruggedness. They can survive listening on the go or traveling from place to place. Not that you'll want to just throw them in a bag — the included protective case is a much more suitable way to carry these special 'phones.

Klipsch included five sizes of their patented soft oval ear tips to ensure a comfortable fit. They conform to the shape of your ear canal to isolate your music from outside noise. In addition, this seal helps eliminate resonance and provide proper bass response.

Control your iPhone® or iPad®

The X12i's in-line remote gives you convenient control over your iPhone, iPad, and other Apple devices. Play and pause music, skip forward or back, and control the volume with the three-button remote. Use the built-in microphone to answer calls on your iPhone, or even talk to Siri.

Klipsch X12i in-ear headphones

I like the fit and ease of use and the sound is very good. They stay in place quite nicely. Their size make traveling with them a lot easier than head phones. Good quality headphones make for the best sound but cumbersome for travel. I recommend these. Are they the best value for what you get? I may not the best one to judge daily but since I could afford these and I am now getting into portable high resolution audio players and music I felt I needed to step up to a better earphone. Before that, I have tried numerous cheap ear buds and not been thrilled with them.

I purchased the Klipsch X12i in-ear headphones to replace an old set that finally wore out. These headphones do not disappoint! Superior sound quality in a compact set, and they are very comfortable to wear.

Pros: Sound quality, noise reduction, comfort, easy to wear.

Detailed and Smooth

Dcc from New Hampshire on 3/12/2016

Very well balanced. Very detailed natural highs, not to bright but smooth. Cymbals are way more natural than the R6i. No sibilance. The kids are equally accurate. The lows are the best I have heard in a IEM. Deep, accurate, tight and full. They smoke Sennheiser 2.0 over-ear Momentums bass. Tighter and deeper than B & W c5/series 2, deeper than Sennheiser IE 80's,. I don't think these are quite "tube amp warm" but a marriage of Klipsch clear high end with a tight deep bass and clear mid section.

Pros: Fit deeper in ear than older models and great diameter fit with bigger tips, at least for me. Cable is non-tangle thicker quality.

Cons: The in-line remote is very high up and always got stuck on my dress shirts. For the price it would be nice to have a non-remote cable option as I am using these with a sony NW-zx2 and not an smartphone. Detachable cables would be nice too.
