2-Way Driver Design: The Legrand Nuvo Series Four NV-4IW6 in-wall loudspeaker utilizes a two-way driver design, featuring a 0.75" aluminum hard-dome tweeter with waveguide and one 6.5" glass fiber cone woofer with a butyl rubber surround for solid audio performance with well-balanced sound. The tweeter pivots, alloing you aim the sound at your targeted listening area.
Applications: The Legrand Nuvo Series Four NV-4IW6 can be used as a front or rear channel speaker in a home theater application. It can also be used in a 2ch stereo application or part of a distributed audio system.
Magnetic Grille: The Nuvo NV-4IW6 comes with a low-profile, rimless grille that attaches magnetically to the front-baffle of the in-wall speaker. The grille features a white finish, but can be painted to match your wall. The low-profile, magnetic grille only protrudes 0.1875" from the wall.
Spring-Post Terminals: The Nuvo NV-4IW6 in-wall loudspeaker is outfitted with a set of spring-post terminals to attach bare speaker wire (up to 12AWG), pin-connectors, or banana plugs (single only).
Mounting Options: The Series Four NV-4IW6 requires a rectangular cutout in the wall that measures 7.625" (w) x 10.75" (h) x 3.3125" (d). Six swivel "dog-leg" clamps with integrated mounting screws secure the speaker in the wall. There needs to be at least 0.75" of clearance around the inside of the cutout to accommodate the swivel "dog-leg" clamps. The "dog-leg" clamps will accommodate up to 1.5" drywall thickness.
