Product Research

Features

Overview: The Manfrotto Element Traveller Big red tripod is designed for use with large point-and-shoot, mirrorless, and DSLRs up to 17.64 pounds. It features folding 5-section legs with rubber feet that supply a secure, non-slip base on any surface. The Element Traveller tripod has an aluminum ball head with a quick-release plate and standard 1/4"-20 screw thread. It has a rapid center column, and comes with a convenient, padded carrying bag.

Five-section Legs: The Element Traveller tripod is equipped with five-section legs with twist-type locks. The ends of the legs feature an 8mm thread to accommodate the interchangeable rubber feet (installed) or the included spike feet. The five telescoping leg sections have diameters of 0.51, 0.63, 0.75, 0.87, and 0.98 inches. The legs have independent angle settings at 21.5°, 54.5°, and 83°. The range of height is 16.14" to 55.12" with the center column down, and 64.57 with the center column extended. The closed length is 16.54".

Integrated Monopod: The Traveller Big tripod features a full-size integrated monopod. To use the monopod, you'll need to unscrew one of the tripod legs (the one with the foam rubber grip), and attach the center column and head.

Head Action: The Element Traveller aluminum tripod has an aluminum ball head with a square, Arca-type quick-release plate, allowing you to quickly attach and detach the camera. The head features separate ball lock and pan lock knobs, plus a 360° pan index for more precision in panoramic shots. Dual bubble levels are provided to help you align the camera on two planes, and to ensure that the horizon line is absolutely straight. The quick-release plate has a standard 1/4" screw thread and a screw-type release. The head can rotate the camera a full 360° and tilt the head from -38° to +90° forward and from -38° to +38° laterally.

Tripod Hook: A spring-loaded hook is provided on the bottom of the center column. This allows you to hang additional weight to give your tripod extra stability. It can also be used to hang your camera bag to keep it from getting wet or dirty. You must remember not to exceed the tripod's total maximum weight capacity (17.64 pounds).

Warranty: The Manfrotto Element-series tripods carry a Standard Limited Warranty of two years from the date of purchase. The products are eligible for a free Standard Limited Warranty Extension of an additional three years (a total of 5 years) when registered online.

Customer Q&A

1 question already asked

Q
Can I attach my Canon VIXIA HF G50 to it?
[ Garrett  May 08, 2020 ]
1 answer
A
Hello Garrett, the tripod will hold the Vixia, the only thing is if you want to pan during filming this is not the best option. But if you just need to have the camera still while filming, this will work.
