Definitive bi-directional in-wall 5.5in speakers

Love the Definitive speakers. I forgot that these are newer models than my previous purchases of the same type of bi-directional speakers. They have the same length but slightly larger width than the one I replaced due to a lightning strike. This one includes additional coils. The new speakers are louder and had to be balanced by the receiver but work very well. Coupled with a subwoofer (or two) these are amazing for home theater and mount in the ceiling and walls so I don't have speaker stands and that sort of thing around the room.
Pros: Awesome sound quality. Magnetic cover, in wall design, wire clamps, easy installation.
Cons: Have to cut holes in the walls and the new speaker is not the same size (hole) as the previous model.

Great for media rooms that are not home theater perfect.

I use these combined with a DI 5.5 LCR for center and DI 6.5LCR for fronts. They're crisp and the eq settings are helpful when you have a room that is not fully designed to be a home theater.

Solid, high quality in wall speakers

Great in wall speakers. Have had one pair work flawlessly for 9+ years and recently ordered a second pair from Crutchfield to expand my home theater. These are not cheap by any means though IMO are good quality for price.

great, clean sounding speakers. Handle the power of my Denon 5805 without a problem. Just a little bright when mixed with my Infinities. Still tweaking but very impressed!
