Compatibility: The Definitive Technology ProStand 1000s are perfectly matched speaker stands for the Definitive Technology ProMonitor 100, 200, and 1000 series speakers. They can also be used for satellite loudspeakers from other brands which feature a 1/4-20 threaded insert on the bottom and weigh up to 13 lbs.

Note: The ProStand 1000 speaker stands are packaged in pairs.

Construction: The ProStand 1000 speaker stands feature sturdy all metal construction and are available in a black finish.

Assembly: The Definitive Technology ProStand 1000s will need to be assembled using the supplied hardware. Each stand consists of a bottom base, upright post, and top-plate.

Installation: Your Definitive Technology ProMonitor 100, 200, or 1000 series speakers mount to the stand's top-plate using the supplied 1/4-20 x 1/2" long bolts.

Note: The integrated pedestal foot on the ProMonitor 1000 speakers will need to be removed before installing the speakers on the stand.

Wire-Management: The ProStand 1000 speaker stands feature hollow posts and wire clips to help hide and manage your speaker wire.

Adjustable Feet: The ProStand 1000 speaker stands come with carpet spikes and rubber glides for your hardwood floors. The carpet spikes and rubber glides screw into the base of the stand so you can adjust the level of each foot in case you have uneven floors.

Could I use these with PSB Imagine B speakers?

These are only intended for use with specific Definitive Technology speakers. The PSB speakers are significantly larger and heavier than the Definitive speakers that we would generally use with these stands. Also, the PSB speakers would not be designed to bolt to the stand. I would recommend considering a different stand for your speakers. What is the thickness of the base including hard floor pads?

I would say about 1/2 -5/8's inch total heavy metal but pads are not real thick but plenty thick enough.

What are the dimensions of the top plate?

It is a triangle with rounded corners. The sides are in the 3.25-3.5 inch range depending how they are measured. The vertical height is about 3.25 inches with holes at .8 inches and 1.8 inches from base.

The dimension are about a 4 x 6 triangle top plate. Not very big. Replaced it with my own to hold the speakers I have.
