Compatibility: The Definitive Technology ProStand 600/800s are perfectly matched speaker stands for the Definitive Technology ProMonitor 600 and ProMonitor 800 series speakers. They can also be used for other brands of satellite loudspeakers which feature a 1/4-20 threaded insert and weigh up to 6 lbs.

Note: The ProStand 600/800 speaker stands are packaged in pairs.

Construction: The ProStand 600/800 speaker stands feature sturdy all metal construction and are available in a black or white finish.

Assembly: The Definitive Technology ProStand 600/800s will need to be assembled using the supplied hardware. Each stand consists of a bottom base, upright post, and top-plate.

Installation: Your Definitive Technology ProMonitor 600 or 800 series speakers mount to the stand's top-plate using the supplied 1/4-20 x 1/2" long bolts.

Note: The integrated pedestal foot on the ProMonitor 600 and ProMonitor 800 speakers will need to be removed before installing the speakers on the stand.

Wire-Management: The ProStand 600/800 speaker stands feature hollow posts and wire clips to help hide and manage your speaker wire.

Adjustable Feet: The ProStand 600/800 speaker stands come with carpet spikes and rubber glides for your hardwood floors. The carpet spikes and rubber glides screw into the base of the stand so you can adjust the level of each foot in case you have uneven floors.

Hi Thomas. The Monitor 80 series seems to be a bit bigger in size than my current definitive technology 600 series speakers. As long as the 80 series has a screw option underneath the speaker it should work.

On each post there are two openings, one near the bottom and one near the top, for the cable to pass through. Each opening is 1" H x .5" wide.

I am using a 14 Gauge speaker wire and had no problem at all running the cable through the tube on the Pro Stand. It can handle a pretty thick wire. You might need to do a little digging to get the wire out when threading from the top to the bottom but I found that a flathead screwdriver (small) placed in the hole at an angle allowed the wire to just travel up the ramp (screwdriver head) and right out of the bottom hole.

Yes. I used monster high definition audio cable. Plenty of space. Opening on bottom and top of post are wide open.

Vizio specializes in lower end tv's and sells some center channel and I guess now satellite speakers..definitive technology offers high end speakers and I used high end very thick audio quest speaker cables to my definitive speakers from my receiver that were on these stands and they were snug but fit fine through these stands. Hope that helps as I would assume they'd fit with what you're going to use them with without any issues if using the speaker wire that came with those vizio speakers it's probably very thin. Question is will these stands work for your application as these stands were specifically designed with screw mounting to definitive speakers using their stands. If looking for a generic stand for vizio speakers you might want to look at sanus speaker stands for generic applications......Drew
