Customer Q&A

Q
Does this player decode hdcd and/or sacd? I read on a forum it does but I don't see it in the specs.
[ CeeKay  Jan 25, 2018 ]
2 answers
A
The audio coming from both of those formats is digital, and that's all that matters to the C388 (assuming you are using an optical audio input). It will then convert those signals to audio and send them to the speakers.
[ Warren  Apr 22, 2019 ]
A
I do not have any of these format CD.
[ James  Jan 26, 2018 ]

[ Lon  Aug 06, 2017 ]

[ David A.  Aug 05, 2017 ]
Q
Does it have speakers in it?
[ Greg  May 22, 2017 ]
1 answer
A
Thanks for your question. I'm sorry, no. This is a player only, it would have to be connected through another receiver with speakers to obtain sound. If you have further questions I would recommend reaching out to an Advisor by phone (1-800-324-9695) or online chat. They should be able to help answer your questions.

Q
Is NAD 516BEE dual voltage or 110v only?
[ Dimitris  Oct 15, 2016 ]
3 answers
A
Hi, the back label on my unit says 120V 60Hz, no mention of a wider range.
[ Mike  Oct 17, 2016 ]
A
Back of the unit says 120V / 60Hz, which is the North American standard. As this is a home stereo component, designed for sale in a specific part of the world, I wouldn't normally expect a dual voltage power rating...
[ VLADISLAV  Oct 17, 2016 ]
A
110v only
