Long term B&W owner - 600 and CM series. Love the clarity of the mid-range and highs of my new 703 S2's. I'll likely need to upgrade to a higher current amplifier (not necessarily higher wattage) to get the full dynamics/responsiveness out of the lower frequencies that these speakers are capable of delivering. Their overall sound is not as warm as heard in previous B&W series with the Kevlar cones that I've owned (and love) but these are also the highest grade B&W speakers I've owned. The sound is more neutral to me and clearer than any brand speakers I've owned. The sound is different than I'm used to but love it. Some listeners might think they sound are a bit forward relative to other brands of speakers but I think many of the other brands sound flat, too analytical/cold, and boring to my ears. The rosenut wood veneer / finish is a bit darker than I thought it would be but I actually like it more. Didn't think I'd use the plinths that came with the speakers but put them on and like them more than I anticipated. Suspect this may be the last pair of loud speakers I will ever purchase. On the footsteps of audio Nirvana / Valhalla!
Pros: Clarity , openness and neutrality relative to B&W 603 S2 and CM5 S2 that I've owned (using the same amplifiers).
Cons: Not a 'con' in my mind but they do need a high current amp to get the best out of them.

Beautiful speakers. The sound is very open and clear.Crutchfield was the only place I would spend that much money because of the expert advice and life time tech help.
Pros: Lifetime tech assistance with easy people to talk to no matter how much tech the customer knows they will try to help.
Cons: None to to speak of.

Love these. Highs, mids, lows clearly defined and balanced. Can hear and follow better the musical threads in compositions, including tonalities, harmonics and vibrations. Treble clef, base clef. Oh my! Hearing things not heard before and was using good quality stuff. The better the recording, or broadcast, the better the sound. Even at low volume, definition superb. And these 2 certainly fill my midsize room. Good base. Almost no need for subwoofer unless you want the big thumping sound. I don't and listen to all types of music. My only regret, not buying these sooner.
Pros: All the above.

The Bowers & Wilkins 703 S2 are a superior in every way. Wonderful bright, clear and crisp sound with volume and bass to match. Great customer service as always from Crutchfield!
