Audioengine DS1 Desktop Speaker Stands for A2+
Good angle. Easy to use. Wish they attached to speaker.
Pros:
Cons:
The Audioengine DS1 (ADS1) silicone rubber stands are ideally suited for desktop speakers. The soft stands absorb vibrations from your speakers, improving sound quality. Each DS1 also angles the speaker upwards 15° so the music is directed at your ears for better clarity.
The DS1s are designed for use with the Audioengine A2+, but work equally well with other makes of desktop speakers.
Overall good product. I wish they were a bit stiffer for heavier speakers but they serve as intended.

Overall good product. I wish they were a bit stiffer for heavier speakers but they serve as intended.
Pros: Inexpensive. Look nice and the angle is right.
Cons: Need to be a bit more stiffer, heavier.
My A2+ speakers are on a shelf above my computer monitor so I actually use these stands to point the speakers downward toward my sitting/listening position in front of my computer. They work great for that.
Pros: Made to match A2+ speakers and can be used two ways.
Cons: None
Nice miniature speaker stands designed to improve looks and sound on the Audioengine speakers. Dramatic results. Much deeper sound and more attractive. Well worth the money. Designed only for this purpose.
Pros: Look good - Sound Good
Cons: Could be cheaper
Does what it is supposed to.
Pros:
Cons:
These are great and aim the speakers at ear level. I was just disappointed that they do not come with the speakers and are an additional expense.
Pros:
Cons:
I put a pair of these under my B2. Tilting the speaker to be more in line with my ears made a noticeable difference in the sound quality and really brought the highs to life.
Pros:
Cons:
Great stands to match the Audioengine A2+ speakers. Maybe a bit pricey, but speakers look awesome with them. The sound quality also seems to be slightly better as speakers are pointing now directly to my listening point.
Pros: Match A2+ Look Great
Cons: A little light to be totally stable
I purchased to go with a pair of Audioengine HD 3 speakers. They work as intended to reduce vibrations at high volume. Would recommend to anyone who buys Audioengine HD 3. Build quality is good.
Pros: Work as intended, good build quality.
Cons: The design could be made to add a little more support to the speakers.
Nice little addition to the A2+. Sturdy, seem like they should last a good long while, angle the speakers very nicely on the desktop so your head's on the speakers' axes. Price is a tad high for molded blocks, but they're a good addition if you can swing the cash.
Pros:
Cons:
These stands work perfectly for the A2+ - they are angled correctly and hold the speaker in both landscape or portrait mode.
Pros: It's like they were custom-made for these speakers! :)
Cons:
I was a little reluctant at first to spend this much money on speakers and speaker stands for my PC, but I am so glad I did. I purchased the Audioengine A2+ speakers and I tested them side by side with another brand and it was a no-brainer that the Audioengine's were MUCH better sounding. I use them every single day and I love them. The sound quality is a 10.
Pros: Sound quality is awesome for computer speakers
Cons: Make sure you have enough room on your desktop for them.
The speakers are very impressive. I'm hearing sounds from my vinyl records I have not heard before.
Pros: Excellent sound reproduction in a small space. Ideal for my small office.
Cons: None.
Wasn't sure when I bought them. I am sure now. Well worth the money.
Pros: Angles speakers higher.
Cons: none
Do their job, but are pricey. Couldn't find any cheaper alternatives either, so I guess they are worth the price.
Pros:
Cons:
These stands place the Audioengine A2+ speakers in a better position to hear all the details.
Pros: quality made
Cons: None
I am very glad I ordered these at the same time that I ordered the Audioengine A2+ speakers. The speakers are wonderful, but are sensitive to how they are placed. The speakers tip them upwards off of the desk surface and I think make a noticeable difference in the sound. I also toe them in slightly on either side of the monitor. They may seem a little expensive for what they are, but relative to the price of the speakers make good speakers even better. They look nice, too!
Pros: Go very well with the speakers, both for appearance and functionality.
Cons: I suppose it would have been nice if they had come standard with the speakers, but if the speakers were going to end up higher on a bookshelf rather than on an office or computer desk, they would have been unnecessary. It's fair enough to sell them separately.
I didn't know if I should buy the stands because I was worried about how they would look, however, I am very pleased. They also make the speaker sound better. The musical detail is comes out more. I'm glad I purchased these!
Pros: Look good Better sound
Cons: none
Holy cow!! These have made an already lovely Audioengine A2+ pair of speakers even more, well, lovely! Soundstage was good without these but with the stands is just incredible. Been on the hunt for years to quench my thirst for a quality desktop computer speaker system and these truly fit the bill perfectly. Get them!!!!! I believe they would work with other speaker pairs as well but I must say the stands with the A2+'s makes my face smile.
Pros: Small investment for huge gains in soundstage. Stable, sturdy stand.
Cons: Should be part of the whole set-up , have to buy separately:(
THESE ARE A MUST IF YOU PURCHASE AUDIOENGINE A2 SPEAKERS.
Pros: HIGH QUALITY CONSTRUTION.
Cons: NONE
Perfect for the Audioengine A2 to get proper angle for listening when used as a desktop system.
Pros: Nice grip to speaker and desktop.
Cons: Too bad these are not offered as a package deal with the A2 (not a separate item purchase).
These are a great addition to the Audioengine speakers. Yes, it is a shame that they cost extra. I found them help with the sound of the speakers and protect the bottom of the speakers as well.
Pros: Nicely make rubber type stands. Very secure fitting on desk and no worry rubber type material
Cons: They cost extra
I originally wanted to use these speaker stands to add some height to the center channel speaker on my home theater system. They did not work, but they work marvelously when they are used for their original purpose. They fit my desktop speakers perfectly, and they add just the right amount of height to point the speakers up to ear level.
Pros: The speaker stands are functional, attractive, and inexpensive.
Cons: None
Cheap, but really useful for AudioEngine or any other small desktop speakers. The angle really makes a difference.
Pros:
Cons:
it s like your speakers took Viagra !
Pros: they work great wont slide off
Cons: none
Okay, they were made to fit the Audioengine A2; so what could be better?
Pros: Size, Material, Angle
Cons: None
Feels solid and substantial. When used with the A2's, makes an outstanding speaker system even more so. Noticeable difference in definition. The angle aims the speakers towards your ears when you're sitting at your desk. And makes the speakers better able to fill a small room when you crank up the volume.
Pros: solid and substantial
Cons: none
Perfectly match the Audioengine A2 speakers.
Pros: Perfectly match the Audioengine A2 speakers
Cons: Too expensive. Should have been included with the Audioengine A2 speakers
A little while ago, I purchased a pair of AudioEngine A2 speakers for my desktop computer. I took out an old pair of bookshelf speaker stands and put them on either side of my desk so that I wouldn't have to take up valuable space with these speakers. The one downside of it all was that the A2s didn't meet my ears... that means everything was very slightly dull. I noticed a subtle difference whenever I would hunch over to put my ears in the tweeter's path when compared to simply sitting up above. This product is a great way to fix the problem of not being right in the tweeter sweetspot. They seem to be quite stable as well, even on my current stands. The only down side is that these make my Audioengine A2s look a bit awkward by being on top of DS1 stands that are on top of bookshelf speaker stands. I can deal with the awkwardness, however, because hte sound is subtly improved. Improvements: (All improvements are verrry slight, but noticeable if you listen closely. Keep in mind that these improvements are only if the speakers didn't actually hit your ears before the DS1 stands. If you were already in the sweetspot all along, you won't really notice any change at all) - Small improvement in stereo imaging - improvement in trebles - very small improvement in bass definition (Might just be me though) Overall, I'm quite happy with these angled stands.
Pros:
Cons:
Desktop Speaker Stands The DS1 Desktop Stands, made of high-performance silicone rubber, are designed for use with the Audioengine A2 and H3 speakers; they angle the speakers upward at approximately 15° and add 1-3/4" the the height (for 8" total). The DS1s can also be used with other small bookshelf style speakers and offer an easy solution to angle desktop speakers toward your ears.

Better performance. Having the axis of the speakers more inline with the ears will result in more accurate sound. The speaker should have been designed this way in the first place, rather than the consumer being asked to purchase mini stands [ D Nov 27, 2018 ]

Chuck recommended these speakers. I needed speakers that emphasize higher frequencies and don't have strong bass. I have hearing loss, and I need extra help hearing higher frequencies. I was disappointed that the two speaker stands don't come in white since I ordered the white speakers. You might want to check to see if they come in white. [ Richard Feb 25, 2018 ]
