This harness is a must when installing the idatalink rr or rr2 radio replacement interface device. It allows one to connect directly to your vehicles dash harness without cutting or soldering which can create various electrical issues. Simplicity is a plus.

Wasn't happy that my Maestro RR didn't provide as much functionality as it could have in my 2013 370Z and had been waiting for over 4 years while Idatalink developers worked on a solution; this t-harness is the result. I now have access to OBD2 data that was not even available from Nissan such as TPMS and check engine codes in addition to the performance gauges that were already there. I did have to cut and solder the aftermarket radio harness (radio plug) on but the rest was plug and play. The harness is well thought out and makes for a much neater installation.

This wiring kit match my car perfectly! I would recommend spending the extra $24.99 for them to do the wiring for you. It will save so much time!

Pros: It's quick and easy to install and there is no need to cut into your car's wiring.

Cons: There was extra wiring that wasn't needed. (Not really even a Con)

The harness doesn't include instructions and only one plug connects to my factory harness leaving 2 additional plugs unconnected. The harness was supposed to let me continue to be able to use steering wheel controls but provides no way to attach to the car. The antenna requires additional harnesses sold separately, steering wheel controls require a controller sold separately and you only learn this after your item is delivered and you receive the "installation guide link" a 199 picture manual with only 1 picture containing any information. Unless you want to put hundreds of dollars into wiring a head unit I would order another product this one is definitely not the plug and play adapter it claims!

Pros: Lots of free useless wires and plugs

Cons: Everything about the harness is useless except one plug

Professional and clean modular wiring, this helped reduced the messy clutter of diy wiring and provides neccesary adapters for full features access of the vehicle and maestro module.
