When you combine this harness with the Idatalink Maestro RR it made my install of my Kenwood DDX9705s really easy. Some wires might be a bit long just cut them to the length you need overall It's a good product. Thumbs up!

VW2 with Maestro RR - 2017 Jetta
Crutchfield customer from Arlington, TX on 1/21/2019
2017 Volkswagen Jetta
The VW2 harness worked perfectly, no cutting required, for my 2017 VW Jetta. Along with the Maestro RR, the instructions were very clear and concise, and provided all the original functionality of the OEM VW head unit though from my Kenwood DDX-9905s. Added functionality through the iDatalink connection enhances the experience beyond what was available from VW, especially the battery voltage displayed on the Performance Gauges.
Pros: Clear direction No wire cutting
Cons: None

Fits vw harness. Provides backup cam rca, aux cable. Would love a fakra to usb adapter to keep oem usb port but can ebay it for 5 bucks. Maestro rr doesn't support mk7 gti yet but im wired up and ready for the firmware.
Pros: Good quality harness. Easier than tapping the short wires in the glovebox.
Cons: Rr not supported for my mk7 gti. Can't fully test it yet.
