Doesn't fully work as advertised

Crutchfield customer from Ankeny, IA on 2/18/2020

2014 Dodge Durango

Dur1 is advertised as fully working with the 2014 Dodge Durango. Of all the features I tested, there is one that doesn't work, and it's a pretty big deal for me. The rear set entertainment system does not work with this kit at all, even though it is advertised as such. I reached out to Maestro, since this unit also needs the Maestro ADS-RR. Maestro indicated that the RSE is a feature that they plan on adding later, but only for Kenwood and Sony radios. Unfortunately I have a Pioneer radio. So, buyer beware if you need the RSE system to work. Better buy a Kenwood/Sony, and hope that Maestro decides to implement this feature in the future, even though it's advertised as working now.

Pros: Good fit and finish, new surround looks like stock Durango. Pretty easy install; toughest part is relocating heater module, and stuffing wires behind the dash

Cons: Doesn't work with rear seat entertainment, even though it is advertised as such.
