Da-Lite 99622 Projector Interface reviews
This trigger operates the da-lite 10m projector lift. I have a Sony 4k projector that takes up every bit of this lift, about 35 pounds. This is the trigger that raises and lowers the lift by both wall switch and low voltage trigger. My projector has 2 low voltage outputs which are both used in my system for the retractable screen and the lift. For whatever reason, my system required the reversal of wires in this interface as both low voltage and the "up" button on the wall switch were reversed. This system worked flawlessly until an unseasonably cold day recently when the temperature went to single digits. The lift began making an awful sound and wouldn't go up or down without assistance. This stopped the next day when the weather warmed up. My theory was that the 99622 interface board was affected by temperature, as it was mounted in the attic space and not insulated. I uninstalled it and moved it inside the plenum that covers the lift which is insulated (I built the plenum from plywood, and left about 6 inches above the height of the lift so it fit easily. The plenum was externally insulated with r30 and twined to hold in place). Since then, no problems, although I'd need another single digit day to prove my theory.
Pros: both wall switch and low voltage control
Cons: 1. May be susceptible to temperature variations 2. Had to reverse Up and Down motor wires to correctly work
