The Bluesound RC1 is about the simplest way to control your Bluesound wireless multi-room audio system. The remote comes pre-loaded with Bluesound IR codes. Just pop in the included batteries — no set up necessary. And when it comes to operation, the RC1 makes a great alternative to using your smartphone.
The remote operates compatible Bluesound speakers, sound bars, streamers, and amplifiers using line-of-sight IR (infrared) commands. But that's not all. It can send commands through that player to other Bluesound speakers, soundbars, or streaming amplifiers in your home, controlling your entire Bluesound wireless system. The RC1 also has ten music presets, so you can quickly access your favorite sources.
Note: The RC1 is only compatible with Bluesound Gen 2 and Gen2i players running BluOS 3.6.2 or later.

Batteries: The Bluesound RC1 remote is powered by two CR2032 3V lithium "coin-type" batteries (included). The battery compartment is located on the back of the remote and simply pries open to install the batteries. The batteries install with the etched letter facing up.

Nice weight and size. Presets get used a lot. I especially like the volume buttons set at a 45 degree angle. Makes it easy to find them by feel. Overall a well designed, quality remote.
