Customer Q&A

Q
Can the black ground wire be connected to the black wire on the stereo, or does it need to be grounded ?directly Wasa
[ Ken  Jul 30, 2022 ]

A
Depending on your specific application one may be better than the other, Ken. In a true marine setting where the radio and other devices are grounded together at a ground bar under the console, you could try connecting there first. If you are getting bad reception, noise, interference, or any other kind of displeasing sounds through the speakers I would try running a ground point directly to your marine battery negative terminal to antenna directly to see if that alleviates the noise/interference. I hope this helps Ken!
