Where'd that sound come from?
While the look of the 2112's console grabs your attention at first, it's the sound that will stay with you from the moment you turn it on. The 10-driver combination has been exquisitely tweaked to generate maximum, full-range impact from your DVDs, Blu-rays, broadcast TV and streaming sources. Virtual surround processing invites you into the picture you're experiencing on the screen, and three listening modes (music, movie, and enhanced dialogue) provide a sound profile appropriate to the entertainment you've chosen. Enhanced dialogue mode, in particular, is handy if your ears are more, how shall I put this, experienced.
One cable gets you started
It's easy to set up: often, only one cable is needed to hook up your television and start down the path of unleashed premium audio for all your TV's programming sources. The console itself has an included, optional-use swivel base that allows you to adjust your TV's viewing angle, and the unit will learn your existing TV's remote commands for volume, on/off and muting in a matter of minutes. You won't have to deal with another easy-to-lose item on your coffee table.
Play music from your Bluetooth® devices and more
The console has a dedicated USB input for Apple® iOS® devices, plus built-in Bluetooth® with advanced aptX® audio coding for wirelessly streaming music from a compatible computer, smartphone, or tablet. Digital and analog inputs enable you to set this system up in mere minutes with practically any TV.
Note: The 4TV console includes a power-saving auto standby mode that engages if the unit detects no audio signal for 10 minutes. To wake the unit, either (1) press the designated power button on a remote that has been "learned" by the 4TV, or (2) wave your hand in front of the sensor window (near the middle of the console), then press the power button on top of the console.

Audio Entertainment Console: The AudioXperts 4tv model 2112 audio entertainment console provides "component-level" audio performance and is designed to fit directly under your flat-panel television, or on top of a furniture cabinet below a wall hung flat-panel TV. The model 2112 features a smoked glass and aluminum enclosure that integrates perfectly with today's flat-panel LCD & Plasma televisions. Unlike soundbars and conventional surround sound systems, which are typically fixed into place, the model 2112 console's built-in swivel base improves the user's television viewing experience by allowing you to easily rotate the console and television to the preferred listening and viewing angle. The model 2112 features virtual surround sound with Dolby Digital/DTS decoding and a built-in subwoofers for powerful authoritative bass. And for music streaming, there is built-in Bluetooth and a USB port (iPod compatible). The system also learns your TV's remote control and includes a host of connection and control options, making the model 2112 simple to setup and easy to use.
200W RMS/350W Peak System: The AudioXperts 4tv model 2112 audio entertainment console provides 200 watts (RMS) and 300 watts (Peak) of system power for exceptional dynamic range.
10 Custom Designed Drivers: The model 2112 audio entertainment console houses dual 0.75" fabric dome tweeters, four patent-pending HART midrange drivers, and four 4.5" SSHO long-throw woofers for crisp highs, detailed midrange, and deep bass.
Smoked Glass/Aluminum Enclosure with Swivel Base: The enclosure is made of aluminum and smoked glass. Its designed for your TV to sit on top of the model 2112. The included swivel base can be attached to the bottom of the model 2112, so you can angle your TV to provide the optimum viewing and listening area. The audio entertainment console will hold up to 125 lbs with the swivel base, or 175 lbs without the swivel base.
Dolby Digital/DTS Decoding: The AudioXperts 4tv model 2112 audio entertainment console will decode Dolby Digital & DTS soundtracks through its digital audio inputs (optical or coaxial).
Listening Modes: The model 2112 offers three different listening modes to best suit your audio/video content and listening preference.
- Movie Mode: Best suited for listening to movies, sports, and games.
- Music Mode: Best suited for listening to music, concerts, and music videos.
- Enhanced-Dialogue: Improves dialogue intelligibility when watching movies, TV show, or news program.

Using the unit's rear-panel USB port and the cable that came with your iPod/iPhone/iPad, you can listen to stored music and music apps from your compatible Apple device. You will continue to control your music from your Apple device's clickwheel or touchscreen, and view metadata information from your iPod/iPhone/iPad's LCD screen (the model 2122 does not offer music control or metadata display). Your Apple device will be charged during USB connection. The unit's USB port is only compatible with select Apple iPods, iPhones, and iPads (it is not compatible with USB thumbdrives or other USB mass storage class devices). AirPort Express Connector: The audio entertainment console also features a dedicated AirPort Express connector. In combination with one of the model 2112's optical digital inputs (labeled AirPort Express), the AirPort Express connector allows you to connect your Apple AirPort Express (sold separately) for wireless iTunes music streaming of compatible AirPlay iOS devices.
Bluetooth w/ CSR aptX: The AudioXperts 4tv model 2112 audio entertainment console features built-in Bluetooth A2DP with CSR aptX codec for crystal clear, full bandwidth wireless music streaming. You can wirelessly stream music from select Apple iPod/iPhone/iPads, Android smartphones/tablets, Blackberry devices, Computers/Laptops, and other Bluetooth-enabled devices. Music can be stored on your device or streamed from downloaded apps. You will continue to control music playback from your Bluetooth-enabled device (not the model 2112).
Note: Due to the differences in Bluetooth technology, some Bluetooth enabled devices may be incompatible, function improperly, or may not support all features when used with the model 2112.
Zone Output: The AudioXperts 4tv model 2112 features a Zone Output which consists of stereo RCA outputs. Using the unit's Zone Output, you can send an analog or digital audio signal input into the model 2112 to another audio system; such as your home stereo receiver or set of powered speakers.
Touch Sensitive Controls: The model 2112 offers convenient top-panel, touch-sensitive controls.
TV Remote Learning: You can program your television's remote control to operate the model 2112's volume up/down (there is no remote included).
Trim Level: Use the rear mounted trim switch to adjust the level of input from your TV or other audio device. Some TVs or devices may have a weak output signal or the signal strength may be too strong and can create noise. There are 3 positions on the switch to allow you to adjust to the optimal setting.
Subwoofer Level: Use the rear mounted subwoofer level control to adjust the amount of bass you desire (independent of system's main volume). Bass output may vary due to room environment and location of the 4TV console.
Auto Standby: When not in use for a period of time, the unit will go into a Standby (sleep) low power state specifically designed to conserve energy.
