Solid choice

Solid upgrade for anyone that has dynamic tweeters. Treble and vocals sound great. You can also run them without a subwoofer and it'll still sound great. You should still run them with a subwoofer if you have one, but these bookshelves don't leave me sorely wanting for more bass.
Pros: -Tweeters are shiny -Good bass -Great midrange and highs
Cons: -Need to supplement with subwoofer (nitpicking)

Very dynamic and articulate. I compared these to the JBL HDI bookshelf but decided on the Martin Logan 35xti. Both speaker sets were detailed but I found the JBLs to be "too revealing" to the point of becoming fatiguing. The MLs provided the perfect balance.

Awesome speakers. Own the esl floor standing and these are the mini version. Big fan.
