great sound & value
bryzguru from Arkansas on 9/27/2015
i listened to a bunch of different powered speakers as well as non-powered cabinets. i am a vocalist so i sang through them and also played music from my phone on all of them. i tested several top selling speakers between $500 and $850 each. i could not tell much difference in them at all, and these seemed to be the best value for the $ in that class. i have had them for a couple of weeks now and my bandmates and i are all impressed at their sound in our rehearsal space. they replaced a 15 year old component PA and the difference is night and day. crutchfield is where i get all my audio products for home and cars. i've been shopping at crutchfield for 20 years and have always been 100% satisfied.
Pros: lightweight for the class of speaker, sound great. bright, clear.
Cons: mine are on poles, but i can see the plastic cabinets getting scratched up if you toss them in the back of a vehicle all the time. this isn't something that i care about, but some people might.
