The sound on the Tascam headset are great. There is no disputing that at all. the headset however is large in size, and even though adjusted doesn't fit well. I purchased these however for this price so for that price it can't be matched for the sound.
Pros: Dollar for dollar, the sound is great. Decent size cord, though for my need I did get an extended cable as well. Ther was no drop in sound quality.
Cons: the headset doesn't fit well.
My primary use for listening with the headphones is recorded interviews involving children. Many of the children have very quiet voices. These headphones are better than others in the same price range. Great product for the price.

Cons: Not the most comfortable. They are loose fitting.
For the price, these headphones are good, but there not good for extended use. The ear cups do not fit around the earlobe, except for small ears. The ear cups are also very shallow, so the earlobe will touch the speaker grill. There is also a fair amount of noise transferred through the cord, and headband.
Pros: Good price point.
Cons: Not suitable for extended use.
Love the rockin sound, they do have a great sound. Being an adult I thought they would adjust tighter to my head. They are somewhat loose, and sound is better when held tighter to my head. More of a bass response is audible then.

Cons: A lot of plastic in the design, loose fit
