High-performance JBL drivers allow this speaker to excel as a main speaker or stage monitor.
JBL designed their PRX400 Series passive speakers with the high power handling and extended frequency response required by nightclubs, DJs, churches, concerts, and other applications. These speakers house JBL's road-tested components in rugged, road-worthy enclosures, so you can expect reliable performance night after night.
You're covered
The PRX400 Series PRX412M stage monitor features a 12" low-frequency driver and a 1" compression driver with a polymer diaphragm for high performance and system reliability. The high-frequency driver uses a 90° x 50° horn for even coverage whether the speaker's used on the horizontal or vertical axis. JBL's SonicGuard technology protects the high-frequency driver from damage caused by excessive sound levels.
Go anywhere
The PRX412M's rugged birch/poplar laminate enclosure features an 18-gauge steel grille and a glass-filled nylon handle with a rubber grip. A dual-angle pole mounting socket allows the PRX412M to double as a PA speaker on a tripod for smaller systems, or as a satellite speaker pole-mounted over a subwoofer for DJ systems and bands. Whether for sound reinforcement or stage monitoring, the PRX412M offers the performance and durability for which JBL is known.

Features
Applications: The JBL PRX412M is a portable, two-way speaker system designed for either main sound reinforcement or monitoring applications.
Two-Way Speaker Design: The PRX412M employs a 12" low frequency driver and 1" high frequency compression driver coupled with an integrated waveguide which provides superior coverage control (90° H x 50° V), reduced distortion, and smoother frequency response.
SonicGuard HF Protection: Integrated SonicGuard protection circuitry shields the high frequency compression driver from excess power without interrupting the speaker's performance.
DuraFlex Enclosure: The JBL PRX412M's cabinet features a tough DuraFlex finish with a heavy-duty 16AWG protective steel grille to protect the speaker components.
Input/Output Connectors: The PRX412M speaker is fitted with a Speakon NL2 combo-connector which accepts both the NL2 and 1/4" TS phone plug connectors. There is also a parallel identical Speakon NL2 combo connector that facilitates a loop-through connection so you can daisy-chain and power an additional speaker.
Mounting Options: The PRX412M can simply be placed on the floor for studio monitoring. The speaker also features a dual-angle pole slot (35mm) for applications that require tripod mounting and features twelve M10 suspension points for safe deployment in light duty installations.
