The difference between before and after I added the dbx 215s is amazing.
Pros: Brings the best out in the sound quality of my albums
Cons: Would have been nice if if had rubber nubs on the bottom

Excellent equalizer at bargain of the century price. I've used this equalizer for a year now and it has great build quality, controls, sound, everything but a power switch. dbx products have been in my system since the late 70's and they make top notch equipment. You must use adapter cables to connect to RCA connections, available through Crutchfield. I will probably upgrade to the model 1231 for even more control. I cannot recommend this product enough.
Pros: quality construction, sound quality, controls, features, dbx history, bargain price
Cons: No power switch

It took me a few times of using it to find out how great this equalizer is. It has a lot of control features that enable you to tailor the sound to your ears and your listening environment. At first I didn't think I was going to be able to listen to my TV or my computer through it because of a low hum through my 1800 watt power amp. I found that the input level is just to high on those outputs but you can adjust the input level down to solve that problem. You can also increase the input level for a low level input such as a turntable. The sound altering capabilities of this unit are excellent. I'm really happy I bought it!
Pros: Excellent sound altering capabilities
Cons: None that I've found so far.
