If you need an articulating tilting bracket this is the one to buy

Nice heavy duty bracket, expensive but do you want your expensive speaker to fall off the wall. Due to the shape of my room I wanted to mount my rear surround Bowers & Wilkins 707 S2 bookshelf speakers to wall. I looked for brackets that I could use the existing threaded inserts in the bottom of the speakers. Since there is nothing sold to mount B&W speakers that was rated for a 13 lb speaker. I ended up fabricating a mounting plate with a 10" L bracket that was 1/4" thick and cut end to 6" in length and .190 thick aluminum from my local Metal supply store. I had them cut the Aluminum sheet to fit the speaker size and drilled 2 counter holes to bolt the plate to the bracket. Then drilled the holes to match the existing threaded inserts in the speakers and to the wall mount bracket. I know this may not be an option for everyone, if you have a cordless drill, hand metal saw and drill bits you can make a simple bracket in a couple of hours. @crutchfield.com I am sure I am not the only person that is looking to mount there bookshelve speakers to the wall and should look at selling mounting brackets for B&W and other speakers.

Pros: Heavy duty

Cons: No pre-made brackets for B&W speakers

Its the only mount I could find for my 32 pound bookshelf speakers and uses heavy duty metal. The only issue I have is that the speakers would not sit level ( pointed slightly downward) at the zero degree indicator and the is no negative allowance ( although there is 30 degrees downward tilt ). so I had to make a my own adjustment so the speakers were not pointing slightly downward.

Pros: Multiple mounting brackets, holds heavy speakers

Cons: Needs an adjustment beyond the 0 degree mark to level speakers.
