Computer matched for optimum performance

The subwoofer driver is computer-matched to the enclosure, so you'll get plenty of low-end performance from this compact package. It comes with a remote level control, so you can tune it to suit your musical tastes. You can choose between auto or manual turn-on.

Built to take it

You won't have to worry about overtaxing it either, thanks to performance-oriented thermal and over/under voltage protection. The package includes a durable aluminum grille, so there will be no issues with anything in the boat sliding over and damaging your sub.

The finishing touch

If you already have a Stealth soundbar, this sub makes the perfect finishing touch to an awesome all-weather stereo system.

Important Note: This Wet Sounds sub only has a mini-jack input. If you want to connect it to a marine receiver that has a pair of RCA sub outs, you'll need a Hosa Stereo Mini Breakout Adapter to convert the male mini-jack into male RCAs.

Unit has good clean bass, good controls, easy to set up. I like not havingot deal with seperate amp and mounting sub woofer (cutting hole and mounting. Fits nicely in Tri-toon console.

Pros: Easy install Easy set up Sounds great Puts out more bass than needed - can control amount with remote adjustment

Cons: Pricy, but worh it.

Great bass, easy install

Installed in my 2010 Malibu and it sounds awesome and it pounds. The key was to put the sub in the helm and have the sub facing inward. Great look and compact for easy installation and performance.

Pros: Easy installation, great look and sound.

Cons: Supplied wires could be a little longer.

Awesome little sub. Not going to blow you out of the water but definitely makes a world of difference if you don't have a sub.

Pros: Adds nice bass if you don't have a sub Comes with a built in amp so less you have to buy

Cons: Not anything super loud. If you looking for a heavy hitter this is not it. Just something modest that adds bass to a boat or whatever your in.

Great concept, but lacking in performance

Zach from TOMBALL, TX on 8/10/2017

Verified employee purchase (What's this?)

This is an OK sub but I feel like the enclosure is way too small. It gives you a little bit of thump but for the price there a lot of better options out there. Definitely didn't compare to 500 watts of JL Audio bass

Pros: Very small and can fit in tight places All in one package

Cons: Box is too small for the sub Bass output is sub-par

Product Research

Features

Stealth Series Powered Sub: The Wet Sounds Stealth AS-10 is powered subwoofer designed for Side-by-Side's, ATV's, golf carts, and boats. It is a high performance 2-wire, 12-volt audio system for your recreational vehicle.

10" High Excursion Woofer: The Wet Sounds Stealth series powered sub features a 10" high excursion woofer with a polypropylene cone and rubber surround for deep bass performance.

500W Class D Amplifier: The powered subwoofer's 500W Class D amplifier is sealed against moisture and dirt for extra protection and power.

Rugged Enclosure: The powered sub's tough and durable molded Polyethylene enclosure is designed to handle the harsh environment while providing superior sound. A durable aluminum grille is used to protect the woofer and match Wet Sounds' Stealth series soundbars.

Rear-Panel Controls: The Stealth series powered subwoofer is equipped with a gain control (min/max), variable low pass crossover (50-200Hz), variable bass boost (0-12dB @ 45Hz), and phase switch (0°/180°). These controls are located on the rear-panel of the powered subwoofer behind a clear plastic panel which must be removed by unscrewing six hex-head screws.

Wired Remote Level Control: The Wet Sounds Stealth AS-10 comes with a wired remote control to fine-tune the volume level of the powered sub with the rest of your system. The wired remote control features an integrated mounting bracket designed to mount under the dash or other flat surface. An attached 16' cable runs from the wired remote's mounting location to the powered sub's mounting location.

Minijack Input: The Wet Sounds Stealth AS-10's audio input consists of a male 3.5mm minijack connector that is attached to the powered sub via a 5' cable. This male 3.5mm minijack connector plugs to the female 3.5mm line output jack of your Wet Sounds soundbar or other amplified soundbar speaker's analog output.

Auto Turn-On: The powered subwoofer's remote turn-on wire connects to the remote output on the Wet Sounds Stealth series soundbars. If you have a soundbar without a remote turn-on, the powered sub has auto sensing as well to turn on automatically.

Power/Ground Harness: The powered sub features an attached 5' power/ground harness which will need to be hardwired to your recreational vehicle's electrical system. The power (red) and ground (black) leads both have ring terminals attached. The Power wire also features an inline 30A fuse. In addition, there is a remote turn-on wire (blue).

Mounting Hardware: The Wet Sounds Stealth AS-10 comes with stainless steel mounting hardware.

Placement Options: The physics of sound tell us that any subwoofer increases its output when allowed to "load" into a wall, corner, or some other structure. Since every vehicle & application is different, we suggest you experiment & move the subwoofer around to find the optimal position.

Break-In Period: It is recommended that the AS-10 be played at moderate volume levels using normal music material for 6-8 hours before high-output demands are placed on the powered sub. Proper break-in will result in better sound and longer life of the product.

Customer Q&A

Q
Crutchfield asked: Why did you buy this?
A
It had good reviews and I am putting this unit under my rear seat on our pontoon. If I feel it doesn't compliment the systems enough, I will put jacks in on the seat base and move the sub to the floor area behind the captains chair... [ Perry  Aug 15, 2018 ]
A
I needed more base thank the 12" free air sub could muster. This is going in a rear locker to add body to the 4 Rev10s. [ Scott  May 30, 2017 ]
A
Simplicity, brand reputation and integrated amp [ DAVID M  Mar 16, 2017 ]
A
Recommended by Crutch Field staff, it filled out my already existing system in my boat and it fit the space I had. [ James  Jan 06, 2017 ]
A
I was in the market for a weatherproof subwoofer for my 2015 Can-Am Maverick 1000. I currently own the Wet Sounds Stealth 10 so this subwoofer was exactly what I needed! The plug-n-play connections that work with the sound bar are perfect. Wet Sounds makes incredible products! This purchase was a no-brainer for me! [ Cody  Oct 08, 2016 ]

Will this amplified sub fit under the passenger seat of a 2018 Polaris Ranger ?

A
I'm not sure, just measure the space and use the specifications for the sub. That's what I did and worked out great! You will love this sub!Enter

I have a mid-size 2014 570EFI and I seriously doubt it would fit there. You might have to put it in the bed.
[ Jonathan  Jun 07, 2018 ]
A
I would say No... it is an awesome sub/amp enclosure- very well built. But I doubt it will fit under the seat. Possibly the AS-6
[ Dwayne  Jun 07, 2018 ]
A
I am not sure, I used mine under the dash of a Jet Boat. Sorry I couldn't be more help. Take care
[ GUY KEVIN  Jun 07, 2018 ]
Q
Will this subwoofer work with a normal head-unit radio with the typical subwoofer RCA outputs?
[ ColeK  May 16, 2017 ]
3 answers
A
Yes, and that is what I did for my installation. You will need to adjust the Bass setting on the Stereo head and than make the final adjustment on the AS-10 for your set up. The AS-10 also has a volume control which allow you to turn down the bass output for different setting environment. This unit is a little hard to install on my cabin cursier, but it was well worth the sound this this puts out. I also added the bigger wattage 6 1/2 inch speakers in the radar arch by Wet Sounds. These speaker run thru a different amp for a total of 900 watts... it kicks
[ MICHAEL R  May 16, 2017 ]
A
yes it did with mine
[ ALAN  May 16, 2017 ]
A
yes it will
