About the Wet Sounds SYN-DX2.3 HP
Two channels of versatile power
Two channels of versatile power
Wet Sounds' SYN-DX2.3 HP amplifier packs a ton of juice into a compact design that's made for marine use. This 2-channel full-range Class D amp delivers a whopping 300 watts RMS per channel, more than enough to get the party swinging. You could also use this amp in bridged, 1-channel mode to power a high-power marine sub with an impressive 1,200 watts RMS.
A small wonder
The SYN- DX2.3 HP fits into tight quarters, while built-in thermal overload protection keeps the internal works cool and safe. The variable high- and low-pass crossovers ensure that you'll get the best possible sound from your speakers, no matter what kind they are. A bass boost and subsonic filter help fine-tune the bass when running a sub.
Made for life on the water
Designed by boaters for boaters, Wet Sounds made this rugged marine amplifier to survive life on a boat. A conformal-coated circuit board, a sealed, salt water-resistant heat sink, and stainless-steel hardware ensure that your amp will stand up to salt, spray, high temperatures, and high volume levels for many seasons to come.

Features
Marine Amplifier: The Wet Sounds SYN-DX series marine amplifiers feature a sealed die-cast aluminum chassis to keep water out. The chassis is raised ½" above the mounting surface to help keep the amplifier cool, and prevent direct contact with water.
Power Indicator: There is a dual illumination LED on the top of the amplifier. The included Wet Sounds logo badge mounts over the LED in one of four directions, allowing you to orient the badge in the same direction of the amp installation. Should a problem arise and the amplifier go into protection mode, the LED will flash a diagnostic code. A solid blue LED indicates the amplifier is on and operating normally. A flashing red LED indicates one of the following issues: Thermal Protection (Heatsink), Thermal Protection (Circuit Board), Short Protect, Overvoltage Protection (>16.5V), Undervoltage Protection (9.5V for more than 20 seconds), and DC Protection (DC output to any of the speakers).
Control Panel: The top-mounted control panel is protected by a cover to help keep the controls dry, and to prevent unwanted adjustments. The cover screws can be removed with a 2.5 mm Allen wrench (not included). The rotary controls and recessed slide switches require the use of a narrow flat head screwdriver (not included) to make adjustments.
- Gain: rotary control; variable from 200mV to 6V
- Output Mode: 2-position switch; select Stereo (when the amp is powering two stereo speakers) or Sum Mono (when the amp is bridged)
- Crossover Type: 3-position switch; select low-pass, high-pass, or full-range
- Crossover Frequency: rotary control; variable from 50 Hz to 250 Hz; 12dB/octave slope
- Subsonic Filter: rotary control; variable from 10 Hz to 50 Hz
- Bass Boost: rotary control; variable from 0 to +12 dB
Connections: All the wiring connections are on one side of the amplifier for a clean installation.
- Speaker Outputs: set screw C-clamp terminals; each speaker output has a removable plug; the terminals will accept up to 12-gauge wire; a small flat head or Phillips head screwdriver is needed to tighten/loosen the C-clamp screws
- RCA Inputs: one pair of stereo RCA inputs
- RCA Outputs: one pair of stereo RCA outputs; provides a line level output for another amplifier
- Power: set-screw terminal; accepts up to 4-gauge wire; a 3mm Allen wrench is needed to tighten/loosen the set screw (not included)
- Ground: set-screw terminal; accepts up to 4-gauge wire; a 3mm Allen wrench is needed to tighten/loosen the set screw (not included)
- Remote Turn-on: set-screw terminal; accepts up to 8-gauge wire; a 3mm Allen wrench is needed to tighten/loosen the set screw (not included)
- Fuses: four 20-amp ATO fuses are mounted on the side of the amp
