The Audeze LCD 2 headphones are definitely great. You can just sit back and relax while listening to music. The weight of the headphone is not fatiguing on your neck and you can almost forget they're there once you get comfortable. I've read other comments about the weight so I thought it'd be best to comment about that. The soundstage/imaging is great. It sounds as if the music is coming in all directions. I'm completely satisfied and plan on expanding my Audeze collection down the line
Pros: Soundstage/Image Build quality

Incredible sound , the special effect is very special. Sounds as if I'm where the recording is taking place. Glad I finally took the plunge.

I'm a total headphone nerd, and I own a modest collection- a set of Audioquest Nighthawks, a set of V-Moda Crossfade M-100s, some BeoPlay H4s, and the Focal Sphears. I knew the LCD-2s were going to be astounding, but I didn't know just /how/ astounding. These arrived in a case that I'm convinced could be ran over by a tank and still hold up. Audeze designed that rugged case to ensure that the headphones were protected even if the case is dropped. Whenever you open the case (which is held securely shut by two locking tabs), you're greeted to a gorgeous sight: The LCD-2s in all their glory. The wood comes from the west coast of Africa, and it's polished to perfection. The cable that comes with the headphones is braided (reduces tangles/kinks in the cord) and plugs into the headphones through balanced mini-XLR cables. When you put the headphones on, you'll notice that they have some weight, but you'll never want to take them off. They're the second comfiest pair of cans I've ever worn. I hooked my Dragonfly Black up to my PC and used Tidal's Master Audio playlist, and was immediately blown away. I've listened to "Hotel California" by the Eagles plenty of times in my short 20 years, but I've never /experienced/ it like I did with the LCD-2s. I was in the studio, and nothing could convince me otherwise. All-in-all, these are phenomenal headphones that have opened a new world up to me, and I'll never look at music the same.
Pros: Phenomenally detailed sound, very warm and rich, tight and clean bass. These headphones gave me the most goosebump-inducing listening experience I've ever had.
Cons: The only con I can think of is the weight of the headphones sort of gets to you after a while if you're wearing a hat. If you aren't wearing a hat, then you're good. Not really a con, but /please/ note that you need a headphone amp to get the most out of these. You can run them off of your phone, but the volume won't be there. Even a Dragonfly can help tremendously.
