They give you more consistent performance and better sound by reducing vibrations and other acoustic distortions.

IsoAcoustics GAIA II speaker isolation feet

The GAIA II isolator feet give you better sound by reducing vibrations and acoustic distortions.

A stable foundation for your speakers

IsoAcoustics knows that small details matter when you're trying to squeeze every drop of performance out of your high-end loudspeakers — and the GAIA IIs can help. These stainless steel isolator feet replace the existing screw-in feet of your floor-standing speakers. They give you more consistent performance and better sound by reducing vibrations and other acoustic distortions.

How do they work?

The GAIA IIs isolate a floor-standing speaker from its mounting surface. This eliminates the transfer of energy from the speaker to surrounding surfaces, which means you'll hear clearer, more transparent sound. Think of it like speaker "flotation" — similar to how a car's shock absorbers work.

Easily change your speaker angle

You can adjust each GAIA II's height, which allows you to raise the front or back of the speaker. This lets you make sure that the speaker's tweeter is pointed directly at your ears for the best performance.

Note: This package includes four isolator feet for one floor-standing speaker — you will need to purchase two sets for a pair of floor-standing speakers.

If you though the Klipsch RF II sound great, add these babies to the equation and you will be very surprised. Bass is clearer and cleaner so is the treble. Especially at higher volumes. Added more crisp and clarity to the sound. Highly recommend.

Pros: Improved sound especially at higher volumes

NOT a gimmick! A real sound enhancer!

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

I had read several articles praising speaker foot accessories than were designed to largely de-couple the speakers from the surface they rest on. It made sense to me that a well-designed foot might let the speaker operate to it's full ability. I'd heard and read about Stillpoints, but the cost was high and they looked a bit gimmicky. When I ran across the Isoacoustics brand, the were somewhat more affordable and seemed like they might deliver what they promise. I ordered the Gaia II for my ProAc Response 1.5's. (I could have saved some money with the Gaia III, but I mis-remembered the weight carrying abilities of each.) What I found when installed was one of the best improvements in sound that I had ever experienced when optimizing my system. The sound was less "in-the-box" and more open and natural. The bass was tighter and more weighty. In fact, all frequencies seemed to benefit. There was more space around instruments and less blurring together. The Isoacoustics Gaia also made the speakers much more revealing. These feet are just a great, great way to take your sound to the next level. I'm VERY pleased.

Pros: Much improved sound

Cons: still a bit pricey - but then again, for audio, not too pricey takes some time to align properly if you also need to level your speakers

Awesome accessory!

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

These feet are gorgeous (top rate fit and finish) and seriously beefy. When my boxes arrived however one was missing a 1/4" shaft and, of course, this is the size my speakers needed. Not sure how their QC could miss that but ho hum. Crutchfield took great care of me as usual. These are lifting my new Tekton Designs Double Impact floor standers that weigh in at more than 100lbs/speaker. The difference between these guys on the bare floor (carpet square) and with these feet is night and day. The separation, clarity, and solidification of low end punch is amazing. I expected this from past experience but this is another level. Now I am contemplating getting something from IsoAcoustics for my Double Impact center channel. Awesome experience!

Pros: Beautiful finish, noticeable impact

If your speakers are not on carpet, these feet will essentially transform them in an enlightening way. Wholeheartedly recommended.

Pros: A must for PSB T3 on uncarpeted floor

Cons: If supplied adapters don't fit, have Crutchfield contact ISOACCOUSICS for substitutes.

more open and coherent sound

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

nice addition to the system. they had some serious competition, not from the standard spikes that came with my Thiel 2.7's, but from some heavy brass footers. Overall i found the sound to be more coherent and open with the GAIA, but my girlfriend preferred the brass feet. i guess we all hear differently. certainly worth an audition

Features

GAIA II Isolator Feet: Isolating speakers to mitigate coupling is critical, but attenuating reflecting vibration coming back from the hard supporting surface and resisting off-axis oscillations delivers great acoustic accuracy and focus. When a speaker is placed on a hard surface, secondary internal reflections result. Any artifacts of this smear that is similar in the two channels is perceived to be in the center, causing the sound stage to collapse. IsoAcoustics' GAIA II isolators eliminate this smear resulting in a larger and more natural 3-dimensional sound stage.

Note: This package includes 4 isolator feet for one floor-standing speaker. You will need to purchase two GAIA II(s) for a pair of floor-standing speakers.

Compatibility: The IsoAcoustics GAIA II is designed for a wide variety of floor-standing speakers weighing up to 120 lbs. The GAIA II replaces the existing screw-in feet of your floor-standing speakers. It comes with M8, M6 and 1/4-20 hardware to thread into the bottom of your floor-standing speaker. The GAIA II measures 2.0625" in diameter and 2.0625" tall. The GAIA II are adjustable allowing you to angle the front or back of the tower speaker.

IsoAcoustics Patented Design: The GAIA II isolation feet incorporate IsoAcoustics' patented design principles to deliver extraordinary acoustic results. GAIA II provides a high degree of isolation while resisting lateral movement and oscillations to maintain alignment with the listening position. Internal reflections from the hard-supporting surface are attenuated resulting in greater sound clarity and openness.

Machined Metal Housing: The GAIA II isolators are finished in an elegant machined dark chrome metal housing. High-quality metal construction incorporating IsoAcoutics' design philosophy deliver extraordinary acoustic results.

Simple Installation: Remove your floor-standing speaker's existing threaded feet and install the GAIA II isolators in place of them (M8, M6, & 1/4-20 hardware included). Optimal results are heard by installing the GAIA II isolation feet with the logo facing the listening position, or rotated 180-degrees, to align the isolators with the speaker's motive forces. Now place the tower speaker into position as the GAIA II isolators will adhere to the supporting surface.

Customer Q&A

Crutchfield asked
Why did you buy this?

Great reviews. Need product for B&W 804 D3's. [ F  Apr 02, 2018 ]
Good reviews and company has a good reputation, speakers are on a tile floor that has some resonance to it so expect these will improve sound quality. [ Martin  Oct 21, 2017 ]
The sonic performance of these isolators has been well reviewed (c.f. Stereophile), and in addition, they come with a full set of hardware for mounting using different diameter bolts. I expect this to be useful in attaching to different speakers or outrigger-type speaker supports. I chose the Gaia II specifically (over the Gaia I and Gaia III) based on the weight ratings given by the manufacturer. [ Adrian  Oct 04, 2017 ]

1 question already asked

Yes, they were for my system. I have a pair of Focal 1028 Electras and they improved the bass and clarity of the speakers. [ Chris  Nov 28, 2018 ]
To be honest, I am unsure as I did not conduct a before and after test. I needed to replace the low cost spikes that came with my new speakers for a hardwood floor. In the end, the speakers sound excellent using these solid and high quality feet. I am glad that I got them. [ Ward  Nov 25, 2018 ]
Definitely yes. The improvement in Stage, width depth and height is amazing.. There is an over all smoothness and easy flow of music that is hard to define. The best 700.00 spent for the most sonic improvement tweak ever. A friend of mine bought a set and he says the same. Just do it, you will not be sorry [ Charly  Nov 25, 2018 ]
Absolutely. They are pricey but once I replaced the stock spikes on my speakers with these the improvement in sound was immediately apparent. Highly recommended. [ GARY  Nov 25, 2018 ]
The short answer is :It depends. I have relatively expensive speakers (Monitor Audio PL200 IIs). Given their price it was worth installing the Gaia IIs. Second, I am a 2 channel listener. I want the best audio experience so I do not mind including a tweak or two to extract that last bit of high end performance . It seems to me that if you are thinking about using the Gaia IIs for low budget speakers and /or a home theater system, then I would say no. [ BROOKE E  Nov 25, 2018 ]
They definitely are worth the money. [ todd  Nov 25, 2018 ]
