They give you more consistent performance and better sound by reducing vibrations and other acoustic distortions.
IsoAcoustics GAIA III speaker isolation feet

The GAIA III isolator feet give you better sound by reducing vibrations and acoustic distortions.

A stable foundation for your speakers

IsoAcoustics knows that small details matter when you're trying to squeeze every drop of performance out of your high-end loudspeakers — and the GAIA IIIs can help. These stainless steel isolator feet replace the existing screw-in feet of your floor-standing speakers. They give you more consistent performance and better sound by reducing vibrations and other acoustic distortions.

How do they work?

The GAIA IIIs isolate a floor-standing speaker from its mounting surface. This eliminates the transfer of energy from the speaker to surrounding surfaces, which means you'll hear clearer, more transparent sound. Think of it like speaker "flotation" — similar to how a car's shock absorbers work.

Easily change your speaker angle

You can adjust each GAIA III's height, which allows you to raise the front or back of the speaker. This lets you make sure that the speaker's tweeter is pointed directly at your ears for the best performance.

Use this calculator to determine which set of GAIA feet are right for your speakers.

Well-earned accolades

The GAIA isolation feet recently won EISA's (Expert Imaging and Sound Association) award for best hi-fi upgrade for 2019-2020. Read more about the award here.

Note: This package includes four isolator feet for one floor-standing speaker — you will need to purchase two sets for a pair of floor-standing speakers.

Product Research

Features

GAIA III Isolator Feet: Isolating speakers to mitigate coupling is critical, but attenuating reflecting vibration coming back from the hard supporting surface and resisting off-axis oscillations delivers great acoustic accuracy and focus. When a speaker is placed on a hard surface, secondary internal reflections result. Any artifacts of this smear that is similar in the two channels is perceived to be in the center, causing the sound stage to collapse. IsoAcoustics' GAIA III isolators eliminate this smear resulting in a larger and more natural 3-dimensional sound stage.

Note: This package includes 4 isolator feet for one floor-standing speaker. You will need to purchase two GAIA III(s) for a pair of floor-standing speakers.

Compatibility: The IsoAcoustics GAIA III is designed for a wide variety of floor-standing speakers weighing up to 70 lbs. The GAIA III replaces the existing screw-in feet of your floor-standing speakers. It comes with M8, M6 and 1/4-20 hardware to thread into the bottom of your floor-standing speaker. The GAIA III measures 1.6875" in diameter and 1.75" tall. The GAIA III are adjustable allowing you to angle the front or back of the tower speaker.

IsoAcoustics Patented Design: The GAIA III isolation feet incorporate IsoAcoustics' patented design principles to deliver extraordinary acoustic results. GAIA III provides a high degree of isolation while resisting lateral movement and oscillations to maintain alignment with the listening position. Internal reflections from the hard-supporting surface are attenuated resulting in greater sound clarity and openness.

Machined Metal Housing: The GAIA III isolators are finished in an elegant machined dark chrome metal housing. High-quality metal construction incorporating IsoAcoutics' design philosophy deliver extraordinary acoustic results.

Simple Installation: Remove your floor-standing speaker's existing threaded feet and install the GAIA III isolators in place of them (M8, M6, & 1/4-20 hardware included). Optimal results are heard by installing the GAIA III isolation feet with the logo facing the listening position, or rotated 180-degrees, to align the isolators with the speaker's motive forces. Now place the tower speaker into position as the GAIA III isolators will adhere to the supporting surface.

A
I am using them under a 40 lb turntable. For your weight I think I would go up one model.
[ Keith D.  Jul 26, 2019 ]
A
I'm sure they will. The screw size is standard for most speakers, and my Paradigm Signature 6 speakers weigh about the same. The isolators are rated to support even higher weight. These made a nice improvement for my system.
[ Michael  Jul 26, 2019 ]
A
YES THEY WILL I HAVE THEM ON MY MONITOR SILVER 10 SPEAKERS WHICH REPLACED MY BRASS FOOTER LOVE THEM YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT TIGHTER BASS CLARITY AND SPACIOUSNESS ALL IMPROVED AND MORE
[ REYMUNDO  Jul 26, 2019 ]
Q
Is there a way to adjust the height of these individually to stabilize the speaker on a slightly uneven floor? My floor has some slight high and low spots to it.

A
Yes, three ways that I know of. The REL T-zero sub I have these on is not perfectly square, and is uneven, so I've had to think this out. (These IsoAcoustics feta are fabulous products, BTW) 1) There are 2 nuts on the bolt of each foot. They can theoretically be tightened together, or separately, at different positions to match the gap you have. I did not have luck with this, as my gap was small. 2) You can screw the nuts all the way down on each foot, and make them extra tight on corners where shorter gaps are needed, and snug-but-not-tight on the corners wiry larger gaps are needed. This has worked for my purposes so far. 3) I have bought some AudioQuest self-adhesive sorbothane in a sheet to make a little "washer" to place on one of the longer gaps. That should work... or use another material like a cheap ready-made rubber washer. This is my back-up option, and have no doubt it would work also with a washer of the correct thickness.

A
They are individually adjustable.
[ James  Dec 09, 2017 ]
A
Mike - Sorry, but no, there isn't a way to adjust the height of the GAIA III isopods. You could possibly not screw them into the base of the speaker all the way but that wouldn't give you much more height. More importantly they aren't designed for that and might lose their isolating properties. Suggest you contact IsoAcoustics and ask for recommendation. I had asked them for recommendations for my speakers and they were helpful.
[ Michael  Dec 08, 2017 ]
A
Yes! The threaded post can vary as to how far in or out you lock it into place, but I wouldn't think you have more than about a quarter of an inch "wiggle room" because you want to be sure the post is in far enough for stability reasons.
[ TERREL  Dec 08, 2017 ]
A
Yes, each isolation device has a threaded screw with thin knurled nuts that are adjustable up to about 1/2" on each one.
