A Perfect Complement to Monitor Audio Silver 200 Speakers
Gary from MURRIETA, CA on 2/26/2023
This powered subwoofer (200W) currently complements my pair of Monitor Audio Silver 200 6G speakers (Rosenut finish) in a small (bed)room setup. The system is put together around a Cambridge CXA81 Integrated Amp, from which this MA Radius 380 receives its signal. The Silver 200s are bi-amped LHF - RHF (CXA81 80W/Ch) and LLF - RLF (ROTEL 1582 MkII 200W/Ch) [A+B]. I am so pleased with this. I am in California and have shopped online all over the place, but I have been MOST helped by Crutchfield, way back there in Virginia. What fantastic stock availability, discounted price opportunities and fast service! Even with the 'no-questions-asked' Return Service I received on a Scratch-and-Dent item (this Radius 380), it was painless and enjoyable. (Thank you again, Susan!)
Pros: Premium quality build, appearance and SOUND quality.
Cons: [none]

Elegant in sight and sound
Gordon from Bloomfield Hills, MI on 5/17/2022
This is my first and only subwoofer, paired with Revel M106s or Monitor Audio Silver 100 7Gs. Expecting rattling windows, I thought at first it wasn't working, but as I listened it started to add vital new elements to the music. It's most noticeable with salsa, bass-heavy gospel, other music with prominent or amplified bass, but it also adds a special richness to solo cello, orchestral bass drums, and many other styles. Colin told me this was one of few subwoofers nimble enough for (classical) music. I chose it partly for looks: why settle for a faceless black box when you can have something that looks like a vintage table radio? If my receiver had another port, I'd likely buy a second one for the movie room--especially since it's fairly small and light. Mine was "scratch and dent"; unlike previous unblemished speakers I've bought from this category, it does have a significant gouge out of the top front--but no one will see this when it's placed on the floor.
Pros: subtlety of sound, visual beauty, compactness
Cons: not the cheapest

Excellent for music
Robert from NORTH ROSE, NY on 10/30/2019
Clean, precise bass notes. Not booming or thumping. I matched the Radius with Monitor Audio 9 speakers (the old ones, not the floor standing) and the result is excellent music from rock to jazz to classical. There is a movie mode, but I haven't tried it -- I was looking for a sub-woofer for music. Very happy with this purchase.
Pros: Clean, precise sound. Can adjust cross-over and volume. Great for jazz and classical in particular.
Cons: Somewhat concerned about the exposed (and unprotected) speaker cones.

Great Sound, Easy Installation, Perfect Look
AHe from Silicon Valley, CA on 3/23/2017
A great product. I ordered the black version. Fast shipping and very well packed. I run the subwoofer with 2 Monitor Audio Radius 90 speakers on a NAD c 338. I use the subwoofer RCA cable as the fix crossover of the NAD is 80Hz which works perfectly fine. The sound of the sub is great, fast and precise. A wonderful product just the power switch in the middle makes it a bit difficult to switch off power if the sub is not placed in open space.
Pros: Great Look, excellent craftsmanship Great Sound Easy to install
Cons: Power Button difficult to reach if not placed in open space
