What a woofer

Audiofrog designed the GS690 6"x9" woofer to deliver the midrange details in a custom component system. A responsive polypropylene cone provides high internal damping for smoother frequency response, and Audiofrog uses a 1" copper voice coil to enhance power handling.

Features

Durability: The Nitrile-Butadiene Rubber (NBR) surround is resistant to ultraviolet rays, temperature extremes, and humidity to add to the speaker's reliability and longevity.

Multi Component Systems: The GS690s are designed to mate with the GS10 tweeters (item number 898GS10, sold separately) using the GS610C passive crossovers (item number 898GS610C, sold separately). They can also be used in an active system with (or without) the GS40 midrange (item number 898GS40, sold separately) and the GS10 tweeters using an electronic crossover.

Note: Audiofrog recommends a low pass crossover set no higher than 3.5 kHz. The minimum recommended slope is 12 dB/octave.

Can this subwoofer hook up to a KTA-450 amplifier?

This isn't a subwoofer. It's a midbass driver. It can however play down to about 50hz as long as it's not overdriven.

I am looking for flush mount subwoofer speakers that work well with my existing Bose sound system? I have a 2021 Nissan Altima and it has a Bose sound system but I want more bass but I do not want to install a sub box.

If you are asking if this does not require a sub box then no it does not require one. Sounds good without it. Just be weary and do your research some brand new vehicles(with premium audio systems/Bose) will not cooperate with speakers that aren't factory.

Audiofrog 6x9 does give you a little bump with good sound treatment, but nothing can replicate a subwoofer

These speakers are a great sound quality replacement I'd say. These definitely gave my car more bass, but i gave them more power than what my car offered. I had stock pioneer system and it was a great sound upgrade, and I definitely see the mirrors shaking more.

Could I wire these directly from an amp and set the crossover on the amp to filter the signal? Or do I need a separate crossover?

I would check the manufacture specs. I ran them through amp, but have an active system and set all crossover parameters from my jl audio twk88.

The speaker needs whats called a bandpass crossover , This means you cut the low end and the hi frequency if you run them in a two way or three way system. Enter

Yes! I would prefer a little more power... But, I am running them on an Alpine amp, with similar power specs..

These speakers handle 100 watts rms. The kicker amp only provides 50 rms without a bridge option. So, it is not enough

If the rear speakers are 6x9 they will fit. The depth of these speakers are longer so be careful for that. Also depending on your setup these speakers are only designed to play the middle frequencies. If you have a low pass filter of 3000 these will work. These will not play best if you have a factory radio or afteemarket without a proper crossover
