Make the leap to better sound
If you haven't heard of Audiofrog yet, here's what you need to know – there's no one like them. Drawing on decades of collective experience in the car audio field, the folks at Audiofrog have translated their practical knowledge of what makes great sound into the GS693, a no-nonsense, high-quality 3-way speaker.
Let's start with the 6"x9" woofer — a strong polypropylene cone gives you terrific response, while its parabolic shape and 1" copper voice coil ensure impressive power handling. The GS693's 1" and 3/4" tweeters each take on the high frequencies with gusto thanks to an incredibly resilient soft dome design, while minimal tweeter protrusion allows these speakers to fit in more vehicles. But here's where Audiofrog separates themselves from the pack — this dynamic speaker sports a 2-way crossover network that's built into the basket to ensure the right frequencies go to the right drivers for a seamless transition between highs and lows.
You'll want to power these speakers with an outboard amp to hear their incredible clarity. The confident sound of the GS693 is built upon a full one hundred of hours of testing and abuse, during which these speakers have to perform under the strain of extreme heat, humidity, and cold. This commitment to quality means that your Audiofrog speakers will deliver beautiful sound in your car for many, many years.

Audiofrog GS693 reviews
I am running a Pioneer DEH-80PRS head, and Pioneer GM-D9605 (75 watts RMS x 4 at 4 ohms + sub) with new 12 ga. new wire from amp to all speakers. I have The Audiofrog GS693 in the front doors on my 2006 Camry daily driver. After a few weeks and mild break in the sound is great. These speakers are clear but not harsh or overly bright, you could adjust higher frequencies to suit and actually listen for hours. I did have Focal tweeters in the dash running off head unit but removed them today and its a 1000% better, this car is the 2nd car I tried the Focals in the dash and 2nd time I removed them and was happier without them, way too bright, unbearable & spoil the Audiofrogs. I'll be trying some Hertz 3.5s in there next but I'll yank those also if not smooth and accurate. So the Audiofrogs are in my front doors, I did dynamat the area behind the speakers and the whole area behind door trim panel. The speaker output is amazing with no buzzing, vibrating, thumping, screeching, ect.........I stream alot off my cell phone or listen to XM and the Audiofrogs really clean up the digital noise and random harshness, do not sound tinny or shrill at any volume. I hope to get many years out of these awesome speakers.
Pros: very acccurate rich and full sound, not tinny or overly bright. appear to be very high build quality, hope to see may years of service. they really clean up digital sourced inputs which many speakers struggle with. mounting depth reasonable and not overly intrusive, I got them in my front doors on 2006 Camry!
Cons: price, at 2-3 times the price of other similar 6x9 speakers I have high hopes for these. In the past I liked Polk Audio but had durability issues. The speakers sound so good I can only fault them on cost. I would definitely buy again assuming no durability issues.

These speakers are amazing. Need amp to truly hear the potential. Price is higher than I would have liked but if you after quality sound these speakers are incredable and well worth the cost. If the had more size options I would have went all AudioFrog
Pros: Crisp clear sound that will blow you off your seat especially when amplified which is a must.
Cons: $$, but they are worth every penny.

I'm a Mobile Electronics Certified Processional Installer by trade so by the nature of my job I get to install and hear all kinds of car audio. For this build we choose to use a Pioneer 2330 NEX radio and Alpine PDX-V9 amplifier which uses 100 watts RMS per car speaker and we had to decide which 6 by 9 to use as the front speakers. I have installed Alpine E,S, R, and X series,Kicker DS, CS, KS, and QS series,Polk DB & MM,Pioneer TSG, TSA, and TSD series speakers coax and components alike with Kicker QS being my all time favorite for sound clarity especially when amped, that is until we choose to use Audio Frogs GS693. I suggested the Audio Frog GS693 as I had installed the GS43 4" speaker before and Loved the crisp detailed sound. This 4" speaker was so crisp and clean I liked it over most standard 6 1/2" speakers I usually install and listen to. This alone is what got me hooked to use Audio Frog for my next high end audio build. So fast forward to after the install, and a very long day for me, we were blown away by the crisp, clean, detailed sound from these. This is by far my new favorite high end audio clarity and detailed sounding go to speaker. They had a perfect sound at all volume levels maintaining that crisp clean detailed sound & smooth roll off my ears really enjoyed. I even played them off the stock radio before the whole install and they had amazing Bass and great sound clarity even then as well. This Brand is a MUST HAVE for clean detail
Pros: Amazing clarity on all volume and power levels. Nothing I have ever heard before. Totally blown away. Makes an installer not want to give a client their vehicle back!
Cons: Shouldnt be an option for this Brand. Please remove??

Have you ever replaced your factory speakers and love the clarity of the miss and highs, but miss the bass of the factory speakers? That's because to people who don't know the difference they consider the bass to be the factor that determines a good system from a bad. If you're looking at these speakers I'm sure you know that isn't true. I have the F150 with Sony system and the factory 8" sub that I can barely hear. I bought an amp and a Sundown Audio 10 to replace the factory sub and to power these speakers. Even without the amp installed yet I can hear an incredible difference. And also amazingly enough the bass sounds even better! I have to admit while the factory Sony 6x9's had great bass the mids/highs sucked. These alone just made everything better, and they aren't fully broken in yet. Very excited to hear how they sound when I'm pushing 75watts RMS into them. I prefer these over comparable Focal speakers I've bought, and I really like Focals.
Pros: Amazing sound across the whole sound range
Cons: Can't think of any

I have a frame off restored 1967 Oldsmobile 442 Cutlass. Because I had very little options in where my audio equipment can go in the car because it will not be seen. Not to mention the degree of difficulty of the installation of all the components. I wanted the rear speakers to be able to handle the power that I was putting to them from the amp. So I chose the 6×9 GS 693 Audio Frogs. When I faded to the back to tune the amp to the 6×9 s the sound that was being produced from the Audio Frogs was amazing. Not only was the clarity unbelievable. They played even better with more power to them. Then when I started tweaking the EQ and put some bass to them. Well I just shut the doors and leaned back against the sound proofing and was beside my self. So if your looking for a good 6 × 9 and are scared of the price of these speakers and if there going to be worth it. You don't have to worry anymore. Buy them.
Pros: Very well constructed speakers
