The room and features you need
The Concert 88a handheld system is centered around Samson's CR88a wireless receiver, which is made to let you add a second wireless system to Samson's XP310w or XP312w powered speaker (sold separately). The receiver slides into the back panel of your speaker for a quick, simple mount. With a transmission range of up to 100 feet (line of sight), you'll have plenty of room to move. The receiver's front panel provides a LCD channel display and tuning buttons to make channel selection a breeze.
Capturing your voice
The Concert 88a headset system also features Samson's CB88 beltpack transmitter and DE5 headset microphone. The mic connects to the transmitter via a locking mini-XLR connector. You'll get up to eight hours of battery life on two AA batteries. The transmitter's controls include a Power/Mute switch and an input gain control with +38 dB of dynamic range. The lightweight microphone stays securely in place and gives you total freedom of movement.

Overview: The Samson Concert 88a wireless system includes a DE5 discreet headset, a CB88 belt-pack transmitter, and a CR88a receiver module, all designed to be used with one of Samson's XP310w or XP312w Portable PA systems (sold separately). The Concert 88a wireless transmitter and receiver are factory preset to operate on the D frequency band (542-566MHz).
Headset Microphone: The Concert 88a wireless system includes a Samson DE5 discreet headset microphone designed for use in a wide variety of applications such as lectures and presentations, houses of worship, theaters, and more. The DE5 features a miniature condenser microphone capsule and a low-profile, double ear design with an easily adjustable mic boom, making for a secure and comfortable fit for any user. The headset microphone connects to the included belt-pack transmitter via a 43" low-profile cable terminated in a mini-XLR connector.
CR88a Receiver: The included CR88a wireless receiver module is designed to simply slide into an open receiver slot on a compatible Samson Expedition Portable PA system (sold separately). The receiver and transmitter are factory preset to operate on the D frequency band (UHF 542-566MHz), with up to 100 available operating channels per band. An IR Sync feature lets you easily match the receiver and belt-pack transmitter frequency. The removable module lets you select and display the Channel and Frequency, as well as providing an Audio Meter, RF Signal Meter, and Transmitter Battery Level.
CB88 Transmitter: The included CB88 transmitter is designed to be clipped to a belt, pants, or skirt seam and provide up to 100' of operating range. It features a top-mounted Mute button and an IR Sync sensor for connecting to the receiver module. The transmitter has a rotary control under the battery cover that allows you to adjust the transmitter input sensitivity. It has been factory preset to the optimum level for the microphone. If needed, you can raise or lower the input level using the supplied plastic screwdriver. The transmitter is powered by 2 AA batteries (not included), providing up to 8 hours of use.
