The Concert 88a handheld system is centered around Samson's CR88a wireless receiver, which is made to let you add a second wireless system to Samson's XP310w or XP312w powered speaker (sold separately). The receiver slides into the back panel of your speaker for a quick, simple mount. With a transmission range of up to 100 feet (line of sight), you'll have plenty of room to move. The receiver's front panel provides a LCD channel display and tuning buttons to make channel selection a breeze.
Capturing your voice
The Concert 88a headset system also features Samson's CB88 beltpack transmitter and LM10 lavalier microphone. The mic connects to the transmitter via a locking mini-XLR connector. You'll get up to eight hours of battery life on two AA batteries. The transmitter's controls include a Power/Mute switch and an input gain control with +38 dB of dynamic range. Overview: The Samson Concert 88a Lavalier microphone kit is designed specifically for use with Samson's XP310w and XP312w powered PA systems (sold separately). It includes an LM10 lavalier microphone, along with a CB88 beltpack wireless transmitter, and a CR88 receiver module that plugs directly into the XP310w or XP312w control panel.
LM10 Lavalier Microphone: The LM10 lavalier microphone is an omnidirectional, clothing-worn, mic designed for discreet spoken word presentations, such as lectures or seminars. The clip-on mic gives you the freedom to walk around and use your hands without having to worry about holding a microphone or being tethered by a mic cable. The tiny microphone is attached to a 46" cable that terminates into a mini-XLR plug which plugs directly into the beltpack transmitter. The microphone includes a clip for attaching it to your shirt or lapel, and a foam windscreen.
CB88 Bodypack Transmitter: The CB88 beltpack transmitter gives you approximately 8 hours of use from two AA alkaline batteries (not included). The transmitter and included receiver are pre-paired from the factory and operate in the 470-494MHz UHF frequency range (K Band). The transmitter has a rotary control under the battery cover that allows you to adjust the transmitter input sensitivity using the supplied plastic screwdriver, but has already been factory preset to the optimum mic level.
CR88 Wireless Receiver: The Samson Concert 88a Lavalier mic kit includes a CR88 removable, wireless module, designed to plug directly into an XP310w or XP312w PA system's control panel. The receiver module lets you select and displays the Channel and Frequency, as well as providing an Audio Meter, RF Signal Meter, and Transmitter Battery Level. The Concert 88a system has a working range of approximately 100' of operation (line of sight), with an audio frequency response of 50Hz-15kHz.
