Overview: The QSC AD-C.SAT in-ceiling satellite speakers have been developed as part of QSC's AcousticDesign Series Sub/Sat systems. These systems can provide clear, crisp background music and paging for restaurants, lounges, waiting areas, and many other indoor applications where a "low-profile" audio speaker system is required.
Speakers: The QSC AD-C.SAT speakers feature a 2-3/4" full-range driver with a weather treated paper cone and an inverted aluminum dust cap. Each 16 ohm satellite speaker is rated for 25 watts RMS and has a frequency response ranging from 150Hz up to 20kHz (200Hz high-pass filtering is recommended). The satellite speakers are housed in durable ABS enclosures with powder-coated steel mesh grilles. The speaker enclosures have an IP34 rating and are designed for indoor use only.
Sub/Sat System: Designed to be used in a matched system, the AD-C.SAT speakers can be paired up with any QSC AD Series subwoofer, such as the AD-C. SUB, ADP-P. SUB, or AD-S. SUB, in either a 70/100 volt or low-impedance (Low-Z) configuration. Each subwoofer includes output terminals for connecting the satellites speakers and has built-in high-pass filtering that's matched for QSC AD Series satellite speakers.
Mounting: The QSC AD-C.SAT in-ceiling speakers feature 2 built-in mounting arms that, when tightened from the front face of the speaker, will swing outward and tighten against the mounting surface, holding the speaker firmly in place. Two metal C-rings are provided for additional speaker support when mounting. Each speaker includes a safety ring on the back for adding an optional safety cable (not included).
Terminals: Connection to the AD-C.SAT speakers is done through a single 2-pin Euroblock connector on each, accepting speaker wire up to 12AWG. Each speaker connector includes 2 anchor screws for securing the plug to the back of the speaker housing. Terminal cover-plates are provided to protect the wire connection.
