I kept my expectations low for this camera due to the mixed online reviews from sources I trust, but man, am I just blown away. The Leica CL is the PERFECT everyday camera! Finally a pro-worthy Leica camera that can legitimately fit in the pocket. It's as if the Q and the M10 had a baby, which, I didn't know it before, but is my ideal kind of camera for what I shoot: street and travel photography. The CL body is sexy and intuitive with just the right amount of controls and buttons, and the image quality that it produces is worthy of the red dot. It might be considered a luxury by a lot of people (understandably) but when you combine the size of the camera and the L lenses with the Leica shooting experience and the 3D-like image quality, it's a bargain. Throw in the ability to use M lenses (with an optional adapter) and the new CL system becomes a no-brainer, especially for those who already have an M or Q or SL. I realize that I sound like someone from the Leica publicity department right now, lol! I mean it's not all puppies and rainbows: no image stabilization (except for in some huge SL lenses that don't honestly make sense to use on such a small body) and no weather sealing are bummers that I hope will be resolved if there's a CL2. But, in my opinion, these two gripes are overwhelmingly outweighed by the stunning photography experience from start to finish that Leica has achieved in the CL.
Pros: Pocketable, outstanding image quality
Cons: No IBIS, lack of weather sealing
