About the Fusion SG-24DA61500

Powerful performance
Powerful performance
Fusion's Signature Series marine amps are made to deliver power reliably in the most challenging conditions. They're designed to resist moisture while putting out the power you need to hear your music over the wind and waves.
Designed for boats running a 24-volt electrical system, the Signature Series SG-24DA61500 six-channel amplifier delivers 100 watts RMS to each of your Zone 1, 2, and 3 speakers, so you'll get plenty of sound wherever you are onboard.
Multiple configurations available
You can also use the amp in 5-channel mode, powering four speakers in Zones 1 and 2, while bridging the Zone 3 channels to send 280 watt RMS to a subwoofer. Or you could use it to power three high-performance tower speakers with 240 watts each. Separate high- and low-pass crossovers for each Zone let you adjust the tone for each listening area. A bass boost on the Zone 3 channels will punch up the bass when you're using those channels to power a sub.
Tough, stylish, and made for marine use
The stylish stainless-steel front panel resists corrosion, plus it adds an undeniable touch of style to your installation. The amp's rugged aluminum alloy chassis acts as a heat sink, dissipating heat and increasing efficiency. A conformal-coated circuit board and water-resistant design ensure that this marine-rated amp will stand up to conditions that turn lesser electronics into ballast. As part of Fusion's True Marine line, the SG-24DA61500 is backed by a 3-year warranty.

Features
24V Marine Systems: The Fusion SG-24DA61500 is designed specifically for 24V electrical systems.
- Note: This amp must NOT be used in a standard 12 volt electrical system.
Marine Amplifier: This six-channel marine amplifier is effectively three full range 2-channel amps built into one chassis. Each pair of channels is independently bridgeable, so the amp can be wired as 6-channel, 5-channel, 4-channel, or 3-channel. Each 2-channel section of the amp (inputs, outputs and controls) is labeled as a zone; Zone 1, Zone 2, and Zone 3. The amp's conformal-coated PCB (printed circuit board) protects it against the harsh marine environment. While the amplifier is specifically designed for marine applications, it is not waterproof, and should not be mounted where it's likely to get wet. The amp's removable stainless steel top cover protects the control panel on top and the connection panel on the side. Its one-piece die-cast heat sink helps to dissipate heat from the internal components to provide greater reliability and longer sustained power output.
Class-D Amplifier Technology: The SG-24DA61500 features a high efficiency Class-D design with these output specifications (28.8 volt power supply, <1% THD+N):
- Power:
- 4Ω: 100 watts RMS x 6
- 2Ω: 140 watts RMS x 6
- Bridged (4Ω): 280 watts RMS x 3
- Signal to Noise Ratio:
- @ Rated Power: 85 dB (4Ω)
- @ 1 Watt: 53.1 dB (4Ω)
Protection Circuitry: The amp is equipped with circuitry to keep it operating safely. The circuitry protects against overheating (thermal), reversed power polarity, over/under voltage, and short circuited output conditions.
Compass Safe Distance: The minimum distance the amplifier should be mounted from a compass to avoid any interference is listed in the manual as 55cm (just under 22 inches).
Connections:
- RCA Inputs: three pair of stereo RCA inputs; Zone 1, Zone 2, and Zone 3
- Speaker Outputs: six pair of set-screw terminals; the terminals will accept up to 8-gauge wire; the included 2.5mm Allen wrench is used to tighten/loosen the set screws
- Power: set-screw terminal; accepts up to 1/0-gauge wire; the included 3mm Allen wrench is used to tighten/loosen the set screws
- Ground: set-screw terminal; accepts up to 1/0-gauge wire; the included 3mm Allen wrench is used to tighten/loosen the set screws
- Remote Turn-on: set-screw terminal; accepts up to 8-gauge wire; the included 2.5mm Allen wrench is used to tighten/loosen the set screws
- Fuses: three 20-amp ATC fuses are mounted on the side of the amp
Controls: There are independent controls for each zone, located on the top panel under the removable stainless steel cover. (A 3mm Allen wrench is included to remove the cover screws.) A flat-head screwdriver (not included) is required to adjust the rotary controls. The controls include:
- Level: input gain; rotary controls; continuously variable from 300mV to 8V (RMS)
- Crossover Frequency: rotary controls; continuously variable from 32 Hz to 320 Hz
- Crossover Selector: 3-position switches; select low-pass, high-pass, or full range (crossover bypassed)
- Bass Boost: rotary control for Zone 3 only; variable from 0 to +12dB, centered at 45 Hz
