About the Biketronics BT7P1
Big dogs for hogs
Big dogs for hogs
For me, there's no hitting the highway without cranking the tunes. For you Harley owners out there, enjoying big sound can be a challenge on the open road. But Biketronics has come up with an impressive solution for powerful audio that'll dominate wind and engine noise. The BT7P1 2-way speakers sport a plentiful 7.1" waterproof woofer cone that delivers resonant bass and the rich dynamics of the midrange. A silk dome tweeter gives you smooth highs no matter how bumpy the road below.
And with power handling up to 100 watts RMS, you have a high ceiling for amplification, which means you can enjoy serious volume every mile you travel. These weatherproof BT7P1 speakers will endure the extremities of road life, and Biketronics backs them with a lifetime warranty.

Biketronics BT7P1 reviews
I purchased the Titan II 7.1" and the left speaker was either blown or damaged. Not happy with the clarity with my after market radio. I wish an amp would have been highly recommended
Pros: Mounting fits well
Cons: Clarity and loudness

First off I bought these to replace a blown set of Polk MM651 speakers. The Polks sounded ok at first but slowly faded away to the point I blew one voice coil on each speaker. That is the reason for this now review. After extensive search I finally settled on these speakers. On my 13 Street Glide I installed the Gosgate PBR300X2 over a year ago which blew the Polks. These speakers are a perfect match for the Fosgate to a t. I'm sure the Biketronics BT2180 amp is good but there aren't any adjustments so I stayed with the Fosgate. I installed these speakers set the volume on my stock HK head unit to right @ the E in volume. Set the Bass to middle & treble all the way up. Settings on the amp crossover is on AP (all pass) the freq is on 120hz and the gain is set a hair over 7. I added the J&M self adhesive fairing insulation for added sound & let me just say this is probably the best setup for the money hands down. Amp 150.00 Speakers 280.00 Amp wiring kit 100.00. I paid 10.00 more for the speakers from Crutchfield than the MFG but with Crutchfield they have a 60 day no question return policy plus they always backup what they sell. Sound quality blew those Polks away and the bass is 100x better. Biketronics speakers are made by Hybrid Audio Technologies if any of you want to look them up. Very high quality products.
Pros: Everything honestly everything.
Cons: None other than these speakers don't come with any wire or wire connectors you'll have to provide those.

Overview: The Biketronics BT7P1 is an oversized two speaker system designed as a drop-in replacement for the factory speakers in select 1996-2013 Harley-Davidson systems.
Compatibility: The BT7P1 replaces the two fairing speakers in select 1996-2013 Electra Glide and Street Glide models. The included brackets allow the oversized speakers (which Biketronics calls 7.1") to easily replace the smaller factory speakers. The speaker terminals are sized like the original speakers, so the factory wiring plugs in without an adapter.
