2012 Toyota Highlander
I bought a used 2012 Toyota Highlander that had the am-sat button and XM radio antenna but not the factory tuner. This product worked great and was super easy to hook up and in about an hour I had Sirius satellite radio.

2012 Toyota Sienna
Great product for a Toyota: my wife wanted Sat radio in our 2012 Sienna and this box magically makes the Sirius tuner look like "SAT" on the Navigation unit display. It's easy to install and small enough to fit under the front dash. Hardest part (as always) is running the antenna wire. If you have a few extra bucks, consider getting an aftermarket "shark fin" antenna that combines GPS and Sat in one housing.
Pros: Easy installation; it just works!
Cons: Installation instructions say that unit beeps in programming mode: it doesn't beep but the red LED indicates programming mode

This was the perfect match to my Toyota. I e-mailed Crutchfield and asked what part do I need to add xm radio and this part needed. It was easy to install. Watched the videos provided and installed it in less than 20 minutes thanks to the detailed instructions provided. Thanks

Vais Technology SL3sat-T Adapter

It does allow me to connect the SiriusXM tuner to my existing factory radio, but it does not allow me to tune all of the siriusxm channels that I get with my subscription. This limitation is not mentioned anywhere on the device, and I double-checked the compatibility before buying. On my pioneer stereo in another vehicle I am able to tune in all the channels in my subscription. If I had known that I could only tune in to channels up to 255 on this unit, then I would have spent the money on replacing the stereo instead. Now I have spent this much on the ability to keep a factory stereo with limited channels. I could have spent $299.99 on a superior after-market pioneer stereo that would retain all the features of my factory stereo and give me all the channels of my siriusxm subscription!
Pros: Easy to install
Cons: has limitations on number of channels it receives.

The module is exactly what you need to add sat radio to your stock Toyota radio. It's super easy to install and setup is a breeze. Crutchfield provided excellent tech data for my car so there were no surprises during nor after the install. I should also mention that the install gives your dash a nice clean look. No wires plugged into you power plug or Aux jack. All connections are made behind the radio. You will also see text on screen and retain your steering wheel controls. I'm extremely happy with this purchase.
Pros: Easy to install and setup Text displays on screen All connections are made behind the radio
Cons: None so far

It's installed. Took a bit of trial-and-error to get the whole ensemble (stock radio, SiriusXM SXV300V1 Tuner, and existing antenna) working. I'm good now.

Vais Technology SL3SAT-T and Sirius tuner install
Robert from Cleveland, OH on 4/11/2017
2013 Toyota RAV4
Worked exactly as advertised, easy install. I promised my wife to add satellite radio to her new (used) 2013 RAV4 when she bought it. It turns out it doesn't have a "satellite ready" head unit. After some research, I found the Vais Technology SL3SAT-T, which makes a "non-sirius-ready" head unit into a "sirius-ready" one. I wasn't sure it would work, so I called product support before ordering, got WONDERFUL answers and assurances from the product person. She said, "it might take some doing, but we can definitely make it work with your head unit." So I bought it, and the Sirius tuner. Everything installed as per the MasterSheet. Nice, easy install - no soldering or wire nuts, everything was in a pre-made harness. Fired up the first try. Took me 30 minutes to install. Wife is happy. All controls and displays are integral to the head unit - you wouldn't know it wasn't a factory satellite system.
Pros: Easy install No soldering No wire nuts Pre-made wiring harness Good instructions on removing dash Easy install Crutchfield support was great.
Cons: None- did exactly what I expected it to do.
