Built-in Bluetooth

Most people carry their music in their phone or other portable device, so Behringer equipped the B112W with Bluetooth connectivity. You can stream audio directly from your phone, tablet, or laptop right to this speaker.

Behringer B112 2-way powered speaker

A compact control panel makes using the B112 easy.

Making connections

No more hauling around a CD player or thumb drive — you can stream music to the B112W wirelessly from your phone or other compatible device. If you use Behringer's UltraLink ULM wireless microphone system (sold separately), just plug the ULM's dongle into this powered speaker, and you're ready to rock. The built-in mixer and 2-band EQ mean you can plug a mic and an instrument directly into the speaker, eliminating the hassle of a small mixer and cables. The speaker's Link Output lets you connect other powered speakers, while the Stereo Mode button allows two B112Ws to play in true stereo.

Versatility

The B112W's trapezoidal shape allows it to assume a variety of functions, whether it's used on a speaker stand, mounted with a pole on a powered subwoofer, or placed on its side as a stage monitor. And Behringer protects this speaker with its 3-year warranty. It's a versatile, convenient option for a powered speaker.

I bought this speaker for a backyard party! I love this thing! The bluetooth feature is what caught my attention. It is light weight and not bulky. I plan on buying another to have a matching pair. I bought the Gator Works SPK2000 speaker stand to mount it on.

Pros: Light weight Compact

We are using this for a High School softball team PA system. Works great to get sound to where we need it on the field. We are thinking of getting a second speaker to have one going in each direction.

Pros: Good sound quality, loud enough for PA system

Bluetooth

Thomas from Mesa, AZ on 6/10/2018

My only complaint is the Bluetooth. When using, it takes a few seconds for the bluetooth to be active. If you put a sound cue through the bluetooth system and you want an immediate cue, it takes a few seconds to get the bluetooth active and the signal to be played.

Pros: Great sounding

Cons: Bluetooth not immediate when using cues. It takes a few seconds for the cue to wake the monitor and be active again.

For months, I had been looking for a speaker at reasonable price with an excellent volume without sacrificing quality. I tried several models on the market, but I didn't satisfied. I risked with Behringer B112, I have never been a fan of Behringer, but reading the reviews, I decided to try. To my surprise, this speaker offers a spectacular sound without distortion, immediately I ordered the second one to test the Bluetooth stereo link feature. The stereo sound that you produce using the Bluetooth is amazing. Very crisp and clear sound, with an amazing bass response no matter the stand high elevation. I use in the backyard. Sounds very powerful and tight .Very pleased with this investment. I highly recommend those speakers yo everyone who are a sound quality fan !!!!

Pros: Very tight sound, Light Speakers. No distortion notice, Great Stereo image. Fast Bluetooth connection. Easy and practical linked feature

Cons: I do not like the big yellow triangle in front grille

Worked right out of the box as advertised. Have a Big big front yard and used the Behringer to furnish patriotic music to the fireworks show across the street. Love it and will use it for many years to come.

Very good powered PA speaker for the price. Has a lot of nice features including Bluetooth for playing your music, and also to easily, wirelessly connect up two or more of these speakers. I am currently using it with some electronic drums and they sound great. Am also using it to play music in my work area. Will be using it with a mic for some presentations in the future. Has plenty of power for my needs.

It's a good speaker

Natedogg from Indiana on 10/23/2015

First off I'm new to the pro audio world, i found this speaker and thought wow 300 bucks Bluetooth PA speaker. How can i go wrong, thinking in the back of my head you get what you pay for. So knowing I had the option to get send it back if I didn't like it, it was a no brainer... I can officially say wow very impressive very loud very clean.. Only complaint is i wish it had more bass. But that's y they make subwoofer for.. So we got one we got the 12" powered sub by behringer and it was so so... Not impressed deff made a difference but not enough so we purchased a ev118p should be here tomorrow can't wait. Buy for the speaker it's awsome for the price, local audio shop said they don't last but they have a 3 year warranty so if they last that long or if they don't and they send me another one I'm perfectly ok with these not being the tip of the line best sounding speakers we plain on throwing house party and these will be perfect especially pairing the speakers together threw out the house and outside.. Very pleased

Pros: Price warranty

Cons: Non yet

Features

Overview: The Behringer Eurolive B112W active loudspeaker delivers high powered sound reinforcement for live and playback applications. The speaker is equipped with two individually-amplified drivers in a bass-reflex enclosure. The molded cabinet is trapezoidal in shape, allowing you to stand it upright on the floor, pole-mount it, or tilt it on its side as a floor monitor. An integrated handle is molded into the top of the speaker for easy carrying and setup.

Amplifier and Drivers: The built-in Class D amplifier delivers 1000 total watts to this 2-way speaker: 700 watts to the 12" long-excursion low frequency driver and 300 watts to the 1.35" aluminum diaphragm compression high frequency driver. The HF driver is loaded into an ultra-wide dispersion, large-format exponential horn for exceptionally wide coverage. The LF driver is protected by a steel grille.

Equalizer: The B112W has a built-in equalizer with two controls on the back panel: High +/-15dB at 12kHz and Low +/-15dB at 80Hz. A red LED will flash to indicate when the amplifier is clipping.

Mic/Line Inputs: The B112W features two mic/line inputs with female XLR-1/4" combo connectors and a rotary level knobs. The built-in mic preamps are the same ultra-low noise/high-headroom preamps found in Behringer mixers. Individual LEDs on each channel show if the inputs are clipping.

Bluetooth Compatibility: With built-in Bluetooth 3.0, you can pair your phone or tablet to the speaker for wirelessly streaming music. The speaker has a separate volume control for the Bluetooth source. A second Eurolive B-series speaker can be stereo-linked via Bluetooth with the B112W to form a stereo pair.

Wireless Port: A Type A USB port is provided for connecting a Behringer ULM Digital Wireless Microphone System, such as the ULM300USB. Just plug in the ULM receiver dongle and power on the microphone's transmitter, and you instantly have a high-quality wireless system. Each ULM microphone has its own volume control for setting the balance.

Line Output: The B112W has a male XLR connector for connecting the mixer output to additional active speaker systems.

Warranty Terms: Behringer offers a 3-year warranty when you register your product within 90 calendar days of purchase. If the product is not properly registered, the warranty period is one year.

I don't know gave speaker for a present but if you buy one make sure you fill out warranty papers. my gift lasted 7 months then it stoped working
[ WILLIAM L  Jul 09, 2018 ]
A
You can plug a microphone in, so you probably can plug in a CD. The blue tooth is great.
[ ALEX  Jun 25, 2018 ]
A
Yes it can. The B112W has both 1/4" and XLR inputs. You would just need to use a suitable adapter with your CD player.
[ ROBERT  Jun 23, 2018 ]
A
yes, but not easily. the rear does not have a ministereo input, which is very frustrating. so it only has the larger audio stero jack in back. so if you have a cable which can convert to that, it should work.
[ NICHOLAS  Jun 22, 2018 ]
Q
Can I add a subwoofer to these speakers?
[ Kalen  Mar 31, 2017 ]
3 answers
A
yes
[ ALLEN  Apr 05, 2017 ]
A
Yes, you can add a powered subwoofer to this speaker using XLR or 1/4'' cord to connect them together.
[ Nathan  Apr 03, 2017 ]
A
Yes, but you might have to use some adapters. There is an XLR mix output on the speaker. You would need to connect up a female XLR cable to the B112W and run this to your subwoofer. Per the manual "Mix Output sends a copy of the source signal to another speaker using an XLR cable."
