Great entry-level PA system

I bought this to use for a presentation for a group of 125+ people in a large auditorium, and for a music trivia night in the same auditorium. Great sound for the money, and super easy to use. You won't find a better value in an entry-level PA system. I added a few accessories that brought the overall price up to $500 or so, and I'd recommend you consider doing the same if you intend to use this regularly. I bought PA speaker stands for the two speakers and two sets of 50-foot speaker cable so I could better control speaker placement. We host "drive-in movie nights" in our backyard in the summer, so this was mostly to help with speaker placement for that. All in all, a great purchase.

Pros: Easy set up Good sound Loud Good bargain

Cons:

Pretty good little system for the money! There are a couple things that would have made this little unit absolutely perfect, but you get what you pay for and for the money it's pretty hard to beat. Lightweight & compact. Decent sound and volume levels. I think it will be good for smaller venues and events. Played recorded music through it and the audio was pretty good. Plugged in guitar and vocals and I would have liked a little more room to EQ it but it was OK. I'll have to use it a number of times to really know but after 1 show and some testing, I think it will make for a good small set up. The documentation doesn't explain some of the functions, which is a bummer. On the USB connector you can't connect an iPod via the USB cable and have it work and there is no mini input. Lastly, there is an interesting design oddity, they made the PA/mixer to fit inside one of the speakers. But if you choose to take it out and put it on a mic stand using the supplied bracket, you won't be able to fit it back in the speaker without using a screwdriver every time you want to take the bracket on and off. I plan to just get a laptop stand and put it on there.

Pros: Lightweight, affordable, good basic system

Cons: If you understand what you're buying and are expecting your sound quality to be worth the price, then there aren't many.
