We picked this up to amplify our electric bass in the stands at football and basketball games (certainly not its intended purpose). It has performed flawlessly. It can be overdriven, but that's an operator error more than the PA. It amplifies the bass fine, and speaks clearly throughout the ranges.

Unit is very good (with this price tag) and we like it a lot. The only reason why I gave it a 4-star is because of the microphone, it's like a toy and making noise when moving it. I end-up went locally and bought an inexpensive wired microphone and that totally fixed the problem.

I bought this portable PA for our bridge club/unit. We have used it at several recent events and it has worked extremely well. There is absolutely no distortion, no feedback at any volume level. The sound is very clean and accurate, not tinny or boomy like other PAs I have been subjected to. We also purchased the Behringer ULM300USB wireless microphone. Though this microphone also works extremely well, we wish there was a wireless lavalier microphone recommended/available for use with the system.

I bought this hoping to provide music on the beach. This little box was plenty strong enough to hit every ear on the beach. The sound quality is much better than I expected even at high volume levels! The battery holds charge for easily 4-6 hours. For the price the sound is good. I give it 5 stars due to it's performance to price ratio and it's ease of operation.

Over all I loved the Behringer MPA 40 BT. It sound great for the Size , and even Better with the Crutchfield Price. It's easy to carry , has a build in Hand w/ wheels. Build in Equalizer , 2 mic inputs . I truly recommend the Bluetooth speaker to all how love great sounding music, for Tailgate , BBQ, back yards, even for small get Together.

Behringer doesn't make a headset mic that can plug into the USB port, so you have to use a wireless microphone system (mic+transmitter+receiver package) to add that ability to this speaker. All those systems will require AC power for the receivers and you'll lose the portability that makes really makes this one special. I checked the manual and didn't see any mention of being able to replace the battery. This doesn't mean its not possible, but does open the possibility up of the warranty being void if you were to replace the battery.
