Makes the music happen

Behringer's Europower PMP2000D 14-channel powered mixer can provide all the sound processing and output power a small band needs for playing gigs in small and medium sized venues. With up to 2,000 watts available, you can be sure your band will be able to knock down walls and get those wallflowers up and dancing.

14 channels of fun

Nine "Invisible" IMP mic preamps take good care of your vocal and instrument sounds, ensuring clear and distortion-free signal flow. Nine line-level inputs, made up of six mono plus three stereo channels, easily accommodate all you multi-instrumentalists and keyboard wizards. There's even a pair of RCA inputs for inserting your portable music player's output into the mix. A 3-band EQ on each input channel helps you tune each individual voice and instrument for the best overall sound.

Wireless ready

In addition to all the wired inputs, the PMP2000D features a USB port on its front panel so you can use a wireless Behringer Ultralink ULM100USB microphone or ULM202USB microphone pair, and let your singers move about freely without tangling or tripping over mic cords.  The wireless receiver plugs into the USB port, and LED lights indicate when signal is being transmitted.

Strong, versatile, and compact

The PMP2000D boasts two highly efficient Class-D 1000-watt amplifiers, which can drive your mains in stereo or bridged mono mode, or run your mains and monitors in dual mono mode. The PMP2000D features a built-in fan, which keeps it cool without the need for bulky heat sinks that can pack on the pounds. While the low power-to-weight ratio can help out your back and knees, the high headroom lets you push your sonic limits without fear of implosion.

Built-in effects and equalization

You can sweeten the sound with reverb, delay, chorus echoing, flanging, or other modulating effects with the powerful Klark Teknik digital processor Behringer packed onboard. Two 9-band graphic equalizers manage the main and monitor outputs, controlling the tone of your main speakers in the venue and preventing acoustic feedback in the monitors.

    Awesome Sound, Very Clean!

Jeff from Grapeland, TX on 7/14/2017

    Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

The reproduction quality of music through this amp is very clear and pleasing. The 2000 watt rating is a little mis-leading to those of us who have owned the "old" heavy 325 watt mixers for years. Does not push 600 watt subs as expected. Very, very nice sound though.

Pros: Clear sound easy to adjust.

Cons: A little under powered for "2000" Watt rating.

    Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

It is incredible to buy a product with the quality and the price of this Power Mixer. I intend to use it for only small gigs, but after using it the first time, I decided to use it all the time. Thanks to Crutchfield, who gave me the best price and free shipping outside the United States. I received the Mixer in just three days.

    Product Research

Overview: The Behringer Europower PMP2000D is a 14-channel powered mixer. The built-in Class D amplifier outputs 500 watts maximum power per channel into 8Ω, 1000 watts max per channel into 4Ω, and 2000 watts max into 8Ω bridged. (RMS power specs were not given.) The PMP2000D also has an ultra-high quality Klark Teknik FX processor with 25 presets. Class D amplifiers are highly efficient and compact. The PMP2000D has a higher output than its predecessor (PMP2000), despite being 11 pounds lighter. The mixer has a sturdy carrying handle on the top, and comes with a 5' power cord.

Inputs: The PMP2000D's 14 input channels consist of 9 "Invisible" IMP mic preamps with switchable +48V phantom power for condenser microphones. There are also 6 mono and 4 stereo channels with 1/4" TRS input jacks, including 4 Hi-Z inputs, and a stereo RCA input/output for connecting a CD or Tape. A stereo 3.5mm Aux input with a rotary level control is provided for connecting an external device. Six of the inputs have a 25dB pad switch that reduces the input sensitivity for high-level line signals. Each channel has rotary main and monitor level controls, plus individual rotary EQ controls for low, mid, and high bands, and an FX rotary control.

Outputs: The powered mixer has speaker outputs on the rear panel with Neutrik Speakon connectors. The speaker output can be set to Main Left/Right (stereo), Main/Monitor (mono), or Bridged by a front panel switch. There are two Speakon connectors: Output A and Output B. When the unit is set to Bridge, only Output B output is used.

Channel EQs: The PMP2000D has a 3-band EQ on each of the 6 mono channels and the 4 stereo channels with individual rotary controls. The EQ lets you adjust each band + or - 15dB at 60Hz (Low), 700Hz (Mid), and 6kHz (High).

Graphic EQs: The mixer has dual 9-band graphic EQs to give you precise frequency correction of monitor and main outputs. You can turn the monitor and main EQs on or off individually. The monitor EQ also includes a push-button Rumble Filter that is applied to channels 1-6. The EQs have slide controls with a range of + or - 12dB for the following bands: 63Hz, 125Hz, 250Hz, 500Hz, 1kHz, 2kHz, 4kHz, 8kHz, and 16kHz. In addition, a Low Cut filter (18dB/octave at 100Hz) can be applied to Channels 1 through 6.

Klark Teknik Multi-FX Processor: The mixer is equipped with a Klark Teknik Multi-FX processor that gives you a choice of 25 digital effect presets. The effects can be applied to any channel, as well as the monitor and main outputs. The available effects include the following:

    Rich Plate
    Ping Pong
    Tape Echo
    Delay + Reverb
    Chorus + Reverb
    Pitch + Reverb
    Chorus + Delay
    Flanger + Delay

Digital Wireless Option: A Type A USB port is provided to accept a wireless dongle for an optional Behringer wireless microphone receiver, such as ULM300U. Two LEDs beside the port indicate the wireless signal input from one or two mics. The audio from Wireless Mic 1 and Mic 2 are routed to channels 1 and 2.

Warranty Terms: Behringer offers a 3-year warranty when you register your product within 90 calendar days of purchase. If the product is not properly registered, the warranty period is one year.
