The replacement worked...just had to wait

I'm giving 2 stars as the first box/interface had issue with programming. Wired everything up and it wouldn't go in to programming mode. Tried everything Tech Support suggested, finally had cobble together some wiring to get the car functional and put off the install waiting for a replacement. After the same thing happening with my install in another vehicle (specifically the PAC unit), not sold any longer on the price paid for the products.

Fairly simple install, makes adding remote start a breeze. Just had to install the hood switch and disable switch (included and required for safety). The rest was plug and play. Didn't have to splice into any wires on my basic install. Instructions were a little too simple but have everything you need to know. Fairly easy to update and change settings (requires seprate Fortin updater which Crutchfield heavily discounts). Couldn't be easier to use once installed. Also has lots of additional options for more advanced controls. Customer service was fantastic and hooked me up with everything I needed.
Pros: Easy to install. Simple to use. Lots of control options.
Cons: Requires seprate module to update and change settings.
