Great router

I actually bought this unit as a spare for the AC1900 I've been using for at least three or four years now. It is the best router I've ever used. Super fast, I always get 250-275 Mbps downloads from Comcast and good coverage and signal strength all over the house (2400 SF). As I said this is a spare as I have recently had an occasional issue with the current unit , although at this point , resetting my modem and the router have resolved them. I would highly recommend this router.

Great product, strong wireless signal

Great product...very strong wireless signal even though the router is hidden in a small storage room and I have a house of 2100 sq-feet...the iOS app is very handy in setting up the router and in controlling the devices hooked up to it...definitely worth to buy and use...

It's fast but, from what I was led to believe by the Crutchfield rep, I expected a lot more range than what I'm getting. Doesn't cover our whole house which is not huge.

Easy set up with Netgear Genie.The AC 19 delivers speed and great connectivity.I am very satisfied with my purchase and look forward to many years of excellent service. So far, excellent range and speed. Getting almost 100% wired speed at opposite end of router location. 'Smart controls' are still a little buggy- hope that future firmware updates resolve the issues. Easy setup with the Netgear apps. Overall, very satisfied.

Netgear R7000/AC1900 Nighthawk dual-band router

I have had nothing but problems with this router. Installation was a nightmare. Had to seek assistance which let to paying for continued support. Works sporadically. Have to reboot often. Recent firmware seemed to help, but that didn't last too long. Back to same problems. I'm giving up and ordering a new, different, router.

Excellent router!

Excellent! I purchased the Nighthawk to replace a 2005 Apple Airport; you know, the one with the dial-up jack? Yes, that one, and this is so much faster. It's been hooked up for almost two months now and it has never dropped out once, or reset itself at any time. Pages load in an instant, and Netflix and On Demand programs play without a hitch, with no buffering as before. I'm not a techie at all but the setup was easy, and the NetGear Genie makes adjustments simple if you want to fine tune your settings. The only adjustment I made was to optimize streaming and that works great. We only use it for one computer and one iPhone but I'm sure it would handle a larger numbers of devices at the same time. We very happy with our purchase!

Internet Connection Problem Solver

I get my internet service from a microwave tower that's 10.7 miles across the valley from my home. Yeah. This router has significantly improved the internet connection in my home on all three levels of the house. It does what NETGEAR says it will do.

Great Router

I bought this router to replace a Linksys WRT54GL that I had used for years. After a quick setup, this router easily covered every inch of my house (3 floors) with full signal and bandwidth over a wireless connection!
