This product I had problems getting internet and phone working. First xfinity had the wrong modem on their end that would provide phone service. I then could only get on the internet with my laptop. I still cannot attach to the modem for internet using Wi-Fi or ethernet cable from the Desktop computer. I plan to have Geek Squad (Best Buy) check out Desktop.

Love the modem/router/phone line combo

I was happy to find a modem router that had a phone line, as it seems that people no longer have landlines at home, and modems that feature that are now rare. It seems to have good speeds, and I would have given it 5 stars, but wish the coverage were larger to cover our 2700 sq foot home.

Ordered last week, and got it very quickly. I was sick of paying Comcast an extra $14 per month. So far it's been working well, and set up was relatively easy. A few steps and patients it was up and operating. My three stars is only based on how shortly I've had it. Crutch field gets 5 stars.

Best WiFi upgrade

It took a visit from the Comcast/Xfinity tech to get it installed, but it was a simple configuration error on their side. WiFi much better and now we have a telephone! Easy to implement security features. Highly recommended
Pros: 1) Easy setup for security. 2) VoIP phone is great.
Cons: Comcast/Xfinity doesn't have many people who provide their own equipment, this mean that it takes a little longer than usual to get set on their network.

Was easy to set up and is super fast. Paired it with an Eero system and love it. Great speed and huge improvement over my Comcast Arris modem. Improved my speed 4x.

I can truly say that the netgear AC 1900 nighthawk is a blessing be the widget connected do the network is phenomenal the old Airis Spectrum cannot stand up to the Netgear AC 19 1900 I'm having speed of 866.5Mbps test rated tube (1300Mbps) compared to 144Mbps just a break out going forward this is a wonderful modem router Wi-Fi. I have really enjoyed this netgear modem headed for about 3 weeks now my residence is about 2000 square feet and I can reach it in all corners of the house it is for now it is the new kid on the block so go out and buy yourself one. i am unable to use the voice over IP protocol that is step forward in the netgear AC 1900 spectrum will not allow the telephone portion of the voice over voice over IP to be connected to their network they say they just do not recognize third party connect which is crap the reason why I got new router modem voice over IP what to get rid of the old crap that they were selling so now they are confining me to have 2 modem one foot telephone only.
Pros: Fast Internet connection wonderful stability lotta options look up good handle a small home network release just one box

Once signed in with Netgear the device worked After registering it with xfinity
Pros: Excellent signal Perfect replacement for previous xfinity device with no monthly payments Pays for itself in less the eight months
Cons: Netgear's warranty sucks Only good for 30 days of support Extended warranty is $140

Couldn't be happier. I called comcast to find their reccomendation to replace the rental modem and this was the one. Though a bit more expensive than others I looked at, this modem is terrific.

Had issues with the device- wifi dropping, phone calls cutting in and out, and incoming calls frequently reset the box. After a 2 minute call to Crutchfield, a replacement was on its way and a return label was in my email. No waiting, no fuss, just a company standing behind their product and taking care of their customers! Fortunately the second box was much better. Easy to set up and works fine with Xfinity. Buy with confidence knowing its a good product with amazing support from Crutchfield. I also did some benchmark testing before (with Xfinitiy Cisco) for comparison, and the Netgear is definitely preforming with 25% better wireless speeds.
