Installed in 2017 Altima; overall great sound with bass being refined and pronounced. Unlike stock speakers which will give you emphasis of bass being there but missing tonal quality . You can hear the difference in bass tones and beats. Mid bass is clear and able to distinguish between drum fills and able to picture what particular drum is being hit. Highs are crisp and not over bearing but if they are there is a -3db on the built in cross overs provided by Memphis. Vocal are clear and very lifelike with great sound-stage.
Pros: well balanced through whole audio spectrum

Replaced my stock front door speakers in my 2016 Silverado HD 2500 with these Memphis Audios. System is stock, mylink head unit without Bose, RPO Codes UQ3, I06. I was afraid the stock head unit would not be able to properly drive the Memphis speakers but that is certainly not the case; they sound exceptional. The stock speakers had plenty of bass but I would describe it as muddy sounding without crisp highs and midrange. I traded in a truck with Bose and I was regretting not holding out until a found a new truck with Bose but that is no longer the case. I also replaced the dash speakers with the small Memphis Audio speakers. I will be replacing the rear door speakers with a set of the 6 1/2 Memphis Audio MCX speakers as well. I'm very happy with the sound of the 15-MCX69 speakers, solid bass, clear mid range and the tweeters provide a nice finish to the sound. I left the cross over setting at 0db since they are mounted low in the front doors.
Pros: Solid refined bass, clear mid range and crisp highs.
Cons: No clear instructions on mounting the cross over to the speaker and how to change the cross over from 0db to -2db. Easily figured out but some my struggle.

Great speaker! Much better sound quality than the factory one it replaced. I would suggest using an amp or a decent head unit, because with the factory one I have, you crave just a bit more of those bass tones and volume.

I guess I'm the first to review these so, I was a bit skeptical buying these with no reviews & not much on the internet either. My advisor said they were good & they have been in business for quite some time. First off, this is going in a total stock system for now, with factory head. I needed something that would play good & loud with plenty of bass with factory power. Out of the box, they looked really good & solidly built. The crossover didn't look flimsy & the caps look solidly built & well soldered. However, when I went to put it together, there were no instructions at all in the box, no specs, nada. I had already seen that the tweeter had a 0 to -3db adjustment but there were no instructions on how to do this, nor how to mount the crossover to the speaker. This was very frustrating & time consuming but I eventually figured it out. Installation was straight forward, popping the plastic fasteners up to remove the factory grill & drop in the new speakers. The sound was quite amazing for factory power & the bass is nice & tight not boomy or overhang. Since I like my image up front I used the -3db on the tweeters. Since they also swivel you can experiment with different angles according to your rear deck & window ratio. I decided on straight up after listening sessions. So much a great improvement over the cheapo factory 6x9's. I can now jam quite loudly with no distortion & greater clarity I didn't have before. I rate 4 out of 5 stars for lack of any instructions.
Pros: Outstanding sound quality improvement over factory 6x9s, adjustable tweeter cut offs & tweeter swivel adjustable that makes great sound for different rear decks. Very satisfied & would highly recommend.
Cons: No instructions on specs or mounting of crossover to the speaker, nor how to adjust tweeter cut off.
