PRX602

The tweeter's multi-directional pivot system lets you angle high frequencies toward your ears.

Pivoting tweeter

A sensitive yet tough polypropylene cone bolsters the lows while a PEI dome tweeter handles detailed delivery of the high range. Memphis Audio even goes a step beyond by equipping the tweeter with a multi-directional pivot system so that you can create the best soundstage for your car.

Product Research

Features

Tweeters: The PEI (Poly-Ether-Imide) dome tweeters swivel, so they can be aimed for optimum imaging. PEI is a polymer film that produces a wide soundstage for superior imaging.

Mounting: In addition to fitting standard 6-1/2 and 4-hole 6-1/2 applications, the PRX602 also has a standard 6-3/4 bolt pattern. However, if mounted in a 6-3/4 location the holes for the smaller pattern create an air leak, which should be sealed using a speaker baffle, or something similar.

Customer Q&A

Q
I have 4 memphis pr 6.5 inch speakers and two memphis pr 10s in a jeep with a 5 channel powerbass 700.5 do I have to use the hp filter on the 6.5s ? I listen to chevelle, breaken Benjamin I have it set to cut a little of the low end off them as of now.

I feel that the hp filter is for personal taste. In my wife's traverse, i used the prx602 because i didn't put a subwoofer. The low end is powerful on these speakers. Using a sub, I would recommend rolling out the low end going to the 6.5s to taste. When you feel it gets a little to thin, then bring back the low end to fill the gap between the subs and the 6.5s
