Features

Tweeter Mounting: The tweeters offer multiple mounting options; choose a flush mount, surface mount, or angled surface mount. The tweeters are shipped in the flush mount housings and the angled surface mount housings are included. The back of the flush mount housing and the top of the angled surface mount housing combine to create the (non-angled) surface mount housing. Once installed in any of the housings, the tweeter will pivot slightly to optimize imaging.

Crossover: The crossover's inputs and outputs are screw terminals that will accept bare wire or spade connectors up to 0.315" wide.

Customer Q&A

Q
I have a 2014 Dodge ram 1500 i see the woofers go in the doors. where do the tweeters go? i only have tweeter in my dash as far as i know. Would i need a amp for these speakers?
[ BRIAN  Jul 13, 2021 ]
1 answer
A
These are really good speakers that dont need an amp if you dont have one. I have these in my 2007 dodge ram. You will have to make holes for the tweeters. With these installed in the front and a pair of 3 way speakers in the back, you will be taken care of for all the highs and the lows. Good luck!
[ KEVIN  Jul 13, 2021 ]
Q
Can a stock head unit run these sufficiently?
[ Dalton  Jul 10, 2021 ]
3 answers
A
You can run them off the head unit but they sound even better with an amplifier.
[ Crashkj  Mar 01, 2022 ]
A
I'd assume so, but I am not a audio person. Ask Crutchfield
[ DANIEL  Jul 14, 2021 ]
A
You will want to contact an Advisor by phone (1-800-324-9695) or online chat to discuss compatibility with your factory system. They will be able to pull up your vehicle and see if this will integrate. If it does not, then they will also be able to discuss other options with you.

Q
Do I need to use the cross overs that come with them? Or should I use the same wiring that was used for the factory speakers. I have a 2006 Tacoma with an after market head unit.
[ Logan  Dec 04, 2020 ]
1 answer
A
Yes you need to use the crossovers. The factory wiring will need to be hooked up to the input of the crossovers. There will be two outputs, one that goes to the woofer and one that goes to the tweeter. You will need to run the output wiring from the crossover to the woofer and tweeter separately.
[ NATHAN  Dec 04, 2020 ]
Q
What is the function of the crossovers, and where are they installed?
[ Depawl  Sep 18, 2020 ]
1 answer
A
In short, it is a filter to protect your speakers by ensuring they only receive signals in frequencies they are meant to audibly reproduce. High frequency sounds go to your tweeter after passing through a high pass filter on your crossover network, and low frequency sounds go to your woofer after passing through a low pass filter. You can place the crossovers where ever you may have room, either near the amplifier, or near the speakers.

Q
Amp recommendation for these speakers?
[ Scot  Aug 06, 2019 ]
2 answers
A
The coaxials are rated for 50w rms. These can handle 60w rms. I have them on a 4 channel 50w rms amp from alpine.
[ Crashkj  Mar 01, 2022 ]
A
Thanks for your question. For information on selecting the best amp for your speakers I would recommend reaching out to an Advisor by phone (1-800-324-9695) or online chat. They will be able to help determine the differences between the amp models and help you make the best choice for your system.
