Memphis Audio PRXA1000.1 Amp

Totally agree with last reviewer that this amp puts out power. I have 2 Memphis BRX1244 12" 400 Watts RMS Dual 4-Ohm Bass Reference Series Sub woofer's and they pump. The only difference in me and the last reviewer, is that I haven't check for heat. However, I will say, since this is a 1000 RMS amp, get a capacitor of 1 or 2 Farads. This is due to the fact that this amp pumps so hard it made my car stutter and thing my transmission was slipping from the draw on the alternator.Tune it right also!! This amp pumps, so get an extra capacitor of probably 2 Farads, as it dims the LED light on the bass adjustment nob, as well as made me think that my cars transmission was slipping right after I got a transmission flush, when really it was just the alternator having trouble keeping up with providing the demand I was putting on it from this amp. Either a better alternator or this extra capacitor should do the trick. This amp pumps hard af. A pretty penny for sure, but I would argue totally worth the buy if you want something that can sustain low frequencies and not just immediately bump and fail to hold the note. It actually makes me scared to fully test the system I have, as my car rattles so hard that I do not feel the need that I should fully test the system and its setup. 100% worth what I have at least though, and would totally recommend to all bass (especially low bass) lovers. I just need to tune the amp to pump hard at all levels. My RF system isn't adjusted with its tuning.

Pros: Totally agree with last reviewer that this amp puts out power. I have 2 Memphis BRX1244 12" 400 Watts RMS Dual 4-Ohm Bass Reference Series Subwoofer's and they pump.

Cons: None so far. Maybe the tuning of it, but I think this is a non-linear circuit, and I need to adjust the dynamics of it accordingly. The person who installed it did a good job tuning it to hit crazy hard at low notes but I know this amp can be tuned to pump hard at all frequencies. I even am examining the manual since I study physics, so that can tune it to the best possible output that this amp can have. A pretty penny but damn well worth the buy for sure!!!
