When you're flying at high speed — racing, running obstacle courses, etc. — you need an accurate first person view and precise maneuvering control. The DJI FPV Fly More Combo includes goggles, an air unit module, HD camera and remote controller that work together to give you an edge.
Handy FPV air unit
The combo comes with an air unit, which can be mounted on a quadcopter (not included). It connects to a 1080p camera with a 150-degree field of view, which broadcasts video back to the FPV goggles. Included antennas keep commands and video flowing between the other parts of the system.
Note: Two wires must be soldered in order for the air unit to power on and link to the video system.

DJI HDL FPV Transmission Technology: The DJI Digital FPV System utilizes DJI's HDL FPV Transmission Technology for a low-latency HD-quality first person viewer experience. DJI HD Low Latency FPV Transmission technology (DJI HDL FPV Transmission) integrates two-way 5.8GHz wireless communication to deliver wireless control over the entire system and a stable, seamless wireless video signal transmission. DJI HDL FPV offers a low end-to-end latency of 28 milliseconds, similar to high-performance analog systems. The FPV system has a maximum transmission range of 2.5 miles while anti-interference technology brings a reliable feed to the goggles during flight. With this upgraded transmission technology, the DJI Digital FPV System offers eight frequency channels, which allows eight drones to fly simultaneously. With each pilot having their own channel, cross-interference is reduced, providing an optimal racing experience.
- 720/120fps Video Transmission: Most analog transmissions provide a latency between 22-35ms. The DJI HDL FPV Transmission features similar latency rates, but pairs that with a smooth 720p/120fps digital HD live view and a transmission range up to 2.5 miles.

- Eight 5.8GHz Channels: There are up to eight channels depending on the region (FCC: 8, CE/SRRC: 4, MIC: 3). Each channel has a bandwidth of 20 MHz. The default channel is eight and only one pilot at a time is allowed to use this channel. All channels operate under a 5.8GHz frequency.
Note: Most pilots rely on analog video transmission, which can result in poor image resolution and signal interference. On the contrary, DJI’s new HDL FPV Transmission technology ensures a smooth flying experience with a consistently stable signal connection.
Air Unit Module: The DJI FPV Air Unit is an advanced video transmission module that supports a wireless 5.8GHz digital video signal and 720p/120fps image transmission with a transmission range up to 2.5 miles and a minimum end-to-end latency within 28ms. The Air Unit can be mounted on your racing drone and used with the included FPV Goggles and Remote Controller to transmit video and control flight wirelessly. The Air Unit comes with a wiring harness that needs to be hardwired to your racing drone (there are 6 wires that will need to be soldered). The Air Unit elevates the flying experience of your racing drone with modern innovations; like DJI's HDL FPV Transmission technology, embedded remote controller receiver, and multi-antenna technology.
- 1080p Aerial Footage: The DJI FPV Air Unit records videos at 1080p/60fps during flight onto a microSD card (sold separately), providing pilots with smooth and clear aerial footage.

Ultra-Wide-Angle Camera: Beyond racing, the DJI FPV Camera (attached to the Air Unit Module) also offers exceptional filming capabilities. A 150° ultra-wide-angle lens creates a dramatic and unique perspective while the 1080p or 720p footage can easily be recorded as video on a microSD card (microSD card slots located on the Air Unit Module and FPV Goggles). Four M2 screws are attached to both sides of the camera, which can be removed and used to mount the camera to your racing drone's frame and adjusted to the appropriate angle. The DJI FPV Camera provides three camera modes (Racing, Standard and LED mode) that adjust screen brightness and saturation for specific applications.
- Racing Mode: In Racing mode the image contrast increases, helping pilots to distinguish obstacles throughout the course. Racing mode is ideal for most racing situations and delivers images at a higher saturation rate to distinguish brightly-colored objects such as course obstacles.

The FPV Goggles support and record in 720p/60fps and feature a 720p/120fps HD live view. Videos can be recorded and saved on the microSD card, as well as played back instantly through the DJI FPV Goggles. The DJI FPV Goggles has four omnidirectional antennas that support left-hand circular polarization, strengthening signal receiving and communication between the DJI FPV Goggles, Remote Controller, and Air Unit Module. - Focus Mode: The DJI FPV Goggles offer a Focus and Audience Mode. In Focus mode, most of the live video bitstream is placed at the center of the video when signals worsen, providing a clearer FPV experience.
- Audience Mode: Pilots can share camera views with other DJI FPV Goggles that are set to Audience mode, allowing viewers to see what the racers see. In Audience mode, the secondary goggles utilize a one-way communication system with the Air Unit Module, which can affect the image quality and signal strength. The primary goggles will not be affected. To ensure a good viewing experience in Audience mode, please choose a good viewing spot and try to avoid blocking the signal between the secondary goggles and the Air Unit Module.
- The FPV Goggles come with a power cable, but no external power supply. You'll need to purchase a power supply (sold separately) with an input voltage of 7.4V to 17.6V.
- The antennas remain loose even after tightening to help protect the goggles if they were to fall from a high position. If the antennas were too tight, they would break upon impact.
Remote Controller: The included FPV Remote Controller connects quickly to the DJI FPV Air Unit and DJI FPV Goggles using DJI HDL FPV Transmission technology. Additionally, its high-capacity rechargeable battery ensures a longer usage time and a better flight experience. With two adjustable control sticks and an ergonomic design, the DJI FPV Remote Controller has incredible grip and provides strong controller responsiveness. The latency between the DJI FPV Air Unit and the included DJI FPV Remote Controller can go as low as 7ms, allowing pilots to send flight commands faster and complete difficult aerial stunts. During drone operation, the DJI FPV Remote Controller can control the DJI FPV Air Unit for up to 2.5 miles.
- 7ms Low Latency: The latency of other RC’s is often 14-28 ms. However, the latency between the DJI FPV Air Unit and the DJI FPV Remote Controller can reach 7ms, allowing pilots to send flight commands faster and complete difficult aerial stunts.
- 2.5 Mile Control Distance: During drone operation, the DJI FPV Remote Controller can control the DJI FPV Air Unit from up to 2.5 miles away, allowing pilots to fly farther with consistently stable signal strength. 2.5 miles maximum transmission distance; FCC: 2.5 miles, CE: 0.4 miles, SRRC: 2.5 miles.

Video Recording & Playback: The DJI Digital FPV System supports the recording of MP4 video onto a microSD card (up to 128GB). The Air Unit module and FPV Goggles each have a microSD card slot (no microSD card is included). The DJI FPV Goggles will record up to 720p/60fps video, while the DJI FPV Air Units will record 720p/120fps or 1080p/60fps video. The FPV Goggles also support playback and display of 720p video files (MP4, MOV, or MKV [H.264]) recorded onto a microSD card.
- The video transmission latency will not increase if you record videos with the DJI FPV Goggles. However, the video transmission latency will increase about 5ms if you record videos with the DJI FPV Air Unit module.
- The DJI Digital FPV System does not capture still photo images.

Caution Notes: Caution should be used when using DJI's Digital FPV System alone, with multiple users, with occupied frequencies, in direct sunlight, in high and humid temperatures, and in other countries or regions.
- Single User Applications: Follow these instructions when using the DJI Digital FPV System alone.
- Do not fly in areas with heavy signal interferences, for example, areas with strong WiFi signals.
- Do not fly your aircraft too far away or at too low of an altitude.
- Disable the WiFi of the external modules mounted on the aircraft to avoid signal interference.
- Signal Interference: Signal interference may occur when multiple DJI FPV Systems are operating simultaneously. To avoid this, refer to the instructions below -
- Maintain a safe distance of at least 3 meters between each aircraft. Power on and choose a frequency channel for each aircraft one at a time. Avoid using the same frequency channel as other pilots. If live feeds begin to blur, restart all devices.
- Pilots should avoid using the public channel simultaneously during flight as it may result in increased signal interference, blurry live feeds, and reduced image quality.
- If the frequency channel you choose is close to another pilot's channel, ensure that your aircraft is at least 3 meters away from their goggles.
- Maintain a distance of at least 3 meters between each pair of goggles.
- If your live feed becomes blurry due to multiple pilots flying in the same area, restart your air unit.
- Occupied Frequencies: If you enter a channel that is occupied, both pilots may be temporarily switched to the public channel, causing signal interference. Additionally, both users may lose control of their aircraft and may not be able to receive live video feeds.
- Sunlight, Temperature, & Humidity: Avoid using the system in direct sunlight, high temperature and high humidity.
- When using the goggles in a sunlit area, avoid exposing the lenses to direct sunlight, as this may cause irreversible damage to the optics.
- The DJI FPV Air Unit can generate a large amount of heat, so do not touch the air unit directly without first allowing it to cool. Avoid using the air unit for extended periods in high-temperature environments with little ventilation. Otherwise, the air unit will become hot and enter Low Power mode, affecting its performance. When your DJI FPV Air Unit enters Low Power mode due to overheating, the frame rate and control distance will drop, the latency will increase, and videos cannot be recorded.
- Drastic changes in temperature and humidity will cause the screens or the lens cone to fog up, which is normal. Avoid using the DJI FPV Goggles in environments where temperature and humidity tend to alter significantly. If the screen or the lens cone has fogged up, place the goggles in an indoor setting at room temperature and wait until the fog disappears. Keep the DJI FPV Goggles out of hot and humid environments.
- Other Country & Regions: When using the DJI FPV System in other countries or regions, you must follow local radio regulations. Connect the DJI FPV System to DJI Assistant 2 (DJI FPV Series), and the software will automatically tune system settings according to local laws.
