Crutchfield is the only place I trust buying refurbish or open box other than buying direct from the manufacturer. The DJI FPV open box Goggles saved me a few $s and arrived almost new in original box. The battery lasted over 6 hours (accidently left on) so no problems there. I had to upgrade the firmware on my drone but that's it. Got my Mavic Pro (1st gen) binded and now flying with head tracking. So much more fun and precise when it comes to setting up for moving airial shoots.

FPV Goggles: The DJI Goggles are designed for seamless FPV flying with select DJI aerial drones. They combine a pair of large ultra-high quality screens, long-range, low lag wireless connectivity, and direct control of photo and video capture. With Intelligent Flight Modes like ActiveTrack, TapFly, Terrain Follow, Cinematic Mode, and Tripod mode, a totally new flying dimensions is created.
Note: The use of a spotter is essential when wearing FVP goggles. The aircraft should not fly beyond the spotter's line of sight.
Compatibility: The DJI Goggles support Mavic Pro, Spark, Phantom 4 series and Inspire series drones.
- Via Wireless (OcuSync): Wirelessly capability is only supported by the Mavic Pro. Using DJI's OcuSync wireless transmission system, DJI Goggles link with the Mavic Pro with a transmission range of up to 4.3miles/7km. Four antennas built into the body and headband provide signal detection in all directions, staying connected to your drone even when it's behind you.
- Via USB: Spark, Phantom 4, Phantom 4 Pro, Phantom 4 Advanced, and Inspire 2 series drones can be connected to the DJI Goggles via USB using the drone's remote controller.
- Via HDMI: Inspire Series, Phantom 4 Pro+, and Phantom 4 Advanced+ can be connected to the DJI goggles via HDMI suing the drone's remote controller. The HDMI connection supports Live View only; it does not support any aircraft operation. The HDMI input can also be used to plug in other video devices to watch films or play games.
Note: Make sure your DJI drone has the latest software/firmware update installed.
High Quality Optics: Typical "2K" screens inside FPV goggles are split into two 1280 x 1440 sections, one for each eye. When viewing a 16:9 image, some sections are further cut off, leaving only a quarter of the available pixels. DJI Goggles have two 1920 x 1080 screens providing more than twice the amount of pixels of a typical 2K single screen. DJI Goggle use a beam splitter to display an image in from of each eye, as well as polarization to prevent any image overlap. This allows it to create genuine Full HD 1920 x 1080 resolution per eye. When used with the large aperture aspheric lens, an 85° field of view per eye is created for maximum immersion.
HD Viewing with Low Latency: DJI Goggles are able to offer both 720p/60fps and close range 1080p/30fps viewing with an extremely low latency of just 110ms (for the Mavic Pro). Each screen packs its pixels together tightly so you see a clean, cohesive image with no latticing. DJ Goggle can be used no-stop for a maximum of 6 hours.
- HD Mode: In HD Mode, the resolution of video transmission footage reaches 1080p/30fps for near field, lowering to 720p/30fps for far field or when affected by interference.
- Smooth Mode: In Smooth Mode, the resolution will remain at 720p/60fps. The former is for a more clear and immersive FPV experience, and the latter is for smoother FPV footage.
Note: HD video downlink latency (near field and free of interference) can be as low as - 110ms for Mavic Pro @ 720p/60Hz, 150ms for Phantom 4 series @ 720p/60Hz, 140ms for Inspire 2+X5S @ 720p/60Hz, and 190ms for Inspire 2+X4S @ 720p/60Hz.
Head Tracking & Other Intelligent Flight Modes: Your head movements control both aircraft yaw and camera tilt in head Tracking Flight mode. All you need to do is turn left or right to yaw left or right, and straighten your head to stop turning. In Head Tracking Gimbal mode only the gimbal will move without affecting yaw. DJI Goggles are a perfect match with DJI's new Intelligent Flight Modes. In Fixed-Wing Mode, the aircraft doesn't turn left or right but instead flies forward with enough rotational movement for realistic flight simulation. Combined with Head Tracking Mode, you can use your head to control the Mavic Pro for a fully immersive "cockpit" experience. Other Intelligent Flight Modes include Terrain Follow, ActiveTrack, TapFly, Cinematic Mode, and Tripod Mode.
User Modes: You can pair up to two DJI Goggles with one Mavic Pro drone and up two controllers. Three User modes are supported.
- Standard: Standard Mode is suitable for both single and dual operator aircraft control. In this mode, the pilot using the remote controller can focus on flight, while the Goggles operator can view the environment in real-time FPV for more intuitive control. By moving their head, the Goggles wearer can control aircraft orientation or gimbal movement.
- Coach: Coach Mode is suitable for dual operator aircraft control. In this mode, the pilot using the remote controller can focus on flight, while the Goggles operator with a slave remote controller can view the environment in real-time FPV for more intuitive control. By moving their head, the Goggles wearer can control aircraft orientation or gimbal movement. They can also control the aircraft with the secondary slave remote controller that is inferior to the priority control of the primary remote controller. Only the DJI GO 4 app connected with the primary remote controller and the Goggles can display the live view.
- Multiuser Mode: Multiuser Mode is suitable for dual aircraft operator control. In this mode, the Goggles operators with a slave remote controller can view the environment in real-time FPV for more intuitive control. Only the Goggles will display live view and the only the primary Goggles support Head Tracking.
Note: Other compatible DJI drones do not offer dual operator control.
Headphone Jack: Plug headphones into the 3.5mm headphone jack or use the onboard speakers to listen to audio on videos being played through the HDMI cable.
microSD Card Slot: The microSD Card slot on the DJI Goggles is used to download files from the aircraft to an inserted microSD card (sold separately) for backup and to view captured video files. Only videos with a resolution of 1080P/60fps or lower can be viewed via the Goggles.
Comfortable Fit: A unique solid headband design balances and spread the weight of DJI Goggles around the head evenly, minimizing pressure on the face and keep them comfortable to wear for hours. People who wear glass are also able to wear them comfortably. The screen portion of the DJI Goggles can be flipped up to glimpse the real word, or detaches entirely for easy storage and portability.

Touchpad: Access to key intelligent features through a touchpad integrated into the DJI Goggles or 5D button on the Mavic Pro controller make navigating the internal menu system easy and intuitive.
